It is hilarious; all those folks with their panties in a bunch about the NSA and phone records...What a hoot, those same folks have been praising obamacare, which from day one has been known will keep the biggest database on all citizens. Just think the IRS and the administration will be in total control of your destiny. grin grin

I've been watching the nanny state developing for most of my life. It would appear that the tipping point may have been reached, where the gimmes are in control momentarily. Once the country has been pushed into total bankruptcy, the Stallinists will be in complete control. I pray to be wrong but with apparent acceptance by the current crop of people in this country, they seem to be more than willing to accept their enslavement.

Rod, The Constitution is binding on government only. (Regretfully, most folks won't hold the govt. accountable for the violations.) The only entities that can violate the constitution are governments. Had he been arrested and imprisoned for anything he said, it would be a violation of his "Constitutional Rights". If an employer, or constituent, retaliates for an opinion expressed, it is their business. The lesson would be don't anger those you depend on for a living.

Reminds me of a proof I submitted some 50 years ago that basically proved 2+2=5. It took two instructors and myself three days to finally find a false assumption. We all looked in the body of the proof for a mistake.
I guess the new method, which seems to be a continuation of teaching to the norm, would have us all believing 2+2=5.

Since this indicates the present state of politics; I would not characterize it as a problem. A problem would be an unexpected result, or operation, of an engineered process. This is the desired result of social engineering promoted in the last number of years (decades). If the process continues, even the recipients will not be happy with the outcome. 8O 8O
