My apologies to Registax and Lumenera users!

Luca,

I have installed Iris a couple of times, but it is way over my head. Do you know of any tutorials that are planetary in nature? I hate to ask, but if it's as powerful as purported, I've love to have something to work with. grin grin grin grin

Thanks!!

Question for Paolo and/or others HELP!

Posted By Paul Maxson

Tyler,

I was getting something similar to that with my Lum in 16bit mode. I don't know if this applies to the Infinity, but we found out that you can almost totally eliminate it by checking "none" in the Correction Matrices section of Streampix instead of daylight. May not apply, but thought I'd mention it.

Best Toucam capture software?

Posted By Paul Maxson

Alec,

Welcome! I would suggest K3CCD. It was basically written for webcams, especially the Toucam and is well known and used in the community. You can use it free for about 35 days, but the fee is not much (under $30 I think) and well worth it!

Good luck and be sure to post when you get images.

Hello,

I just purchased a Toucam 840k, and was wondering what everyone recommended as far as image/avi capture is concerned?

MaximDL doesn't support AVI capture, does it?

Thanks!
