I will also have to go the mosaic route since my FSQ-ST10XME combo yield a field of view which slightly crops M31 - here is a quick and dirty 4x3min : http://www.perseus.gr/Images/dso-ngc-0224.jpg .

This is a superb result and especially in light of the fact it was taken with a DSLR. You picked up the faint dust at the two extremes very nicely.

Nice fine detail everywhere ... the best part is the 30 minutes total exposure time! Hehehe, this is how you get back at the weather this time of the year where we do not have long stretches of clear skies during the evening: throw the Honders at it.

Someone locally is seriously looking at the PlaneWave instruments and I am impressed by what I have seen in general. I just received the latest issue of S&T which I see has a review and the same will hold next month when Tony Hallas publishes a review in Astronomy Magazine.
