In spite of what others here may think based on some of my earlier comments, i did not actually hate Ronald Reagan... i simply had no use for him.
i hated some of his policies, especially the repeal of certain energy-conservation laws that cost me a job.
He's in the past now, and his lionisation will go on unabated now. He has been canonised, elevated (arguably prematurely) to the Pantheon of Great Leaders. So be it.
i do have the deepest sympathy for his family for their loss, and for the years of suffering of a kind i would not wish on my worst enemy.
Mr. Reagan had a long and prosperous, productive life. He made quite a few people happy, and i guess that counts for a lot.
