I realized my mistake.

When I did my sketch last year, I was using a 10” dob. Now I have a 17.5” dob and, of course, what used to be very dim stars in the field of view are much brighter.

I have intentionally kept the color subdued somewhat compare to many images. But I believe the color is true and many times I thing this object is overly saturated. Hope you like it. grin

The way the image turned out, it makes the nebula look like it's far in the background of the star field.

You really did have a good month, didn't you?

I like "eye-star" in the dolphin nebula, especially as it comes out in this image. With it's blue glow within the nebula, it really does give the impression of looking at a dolphin.
