A Partial List

I guess you can say they are now really free from our oppressive government wherever they might be (if you believe in that sort of thing).

Personally, I think they are just dead and stupid.

Ok, so this President who can barely speak at times, needs to be removed.

I wonder if Biden got some bad beef and is suffering from Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (Mad Cow Disease)?

I did see him eating a hamburger from Jack in the Box recently.    ermm
Dr. Ronny Jackson. LOL.

See, you can be funny.

Did a tile job last week for a friend's son in Denver.  He came driving up with some OSB for some other project.  The stuff he bought was more than $60 per sheet.

Here in Colo. Springs its $50.  I remember 2 years back it was around $18.

Apparently, they've gotten used to getting 3X the price that they were several years back and they aren't going back.

No wonder houses are so friggin' expensive.

They're building new crackerbox homes here in the area, and there isn't anything that is coming in at less than $500,000.

I feel sorry for the kids today.  They'll probably have to go to 50 year mortgages soon before many young people can afford to purchase a home.

And the Dems just want to tax everything more and more.

These politicians are slowly but surely determined to destroy the country.
Yeah, worry about your wholesale prices, guys.

Meanwhile, Russian TV is playing Trump and Pompeo’s comments over and over indicating their approval of Putin.

How patriotic of them to support the president.

See thread of thread, jack. So, you think it’s a good thing for for them to be playing over and over on Russian TV during a Russian invasion of a democratically elected government? You accuse me of lack of sense? You are a fool.

BTW, I’m making a joke there for them supporting their favorite president Putin. Pathetic you need these things explained to you.

BTW they’re playing Tucker Carlson’s comments about Putin, too.

Posted this on a guitar forum I’m active on. Also, on the CN guitar thread.

TL;DR version: Just a warning to you guys, if you are like me and getting a bit older (I’m 64) be careful out there and pay attention to what you are doing all of the time. Had a freak home accident and things could have been worse, but I survived.

Well ****. My wife was at the grand kiddos overnight on Monday and I had the whole house to myself and had a real good practice at volume running through a bunch of instrumental surf tunes with backing tracks and was having a blast. Finished up about nine and was carrying my iPad, phone, and drink up the stairs, tripped on the first step, my hand holding the glass tumbler hit the stairs and it broke, and basically slit my left wrist. I've never seen so much blood, my house looked like the aftermath of a John Wick movie, and seriously thought I was going to die. Had to go back downstairs to get my phone to call 911 with my wrist just gushing and I was near to passing out when the EMTs arrived, they stopped the bleeding, and took me to the hospital. Looks like I have nerve damage, it's my left fretting hand, and have surgery scheduled on Friday to try to fix the nerve. Damn. What a way to ruin a nice evening. My wonderful neighbor has a key and she and her sons cleaned up the terrible mess before we got home at 1 am. No guitar for me for a while, the numbness is only with the pinky and ring fingers and luckily I can move all of them. The doc said IF the nerve heals I should get back to normal in about six months. If not, well, I don't want to think about that.

Not looking for sympathy, just conveying a word of caution that as you get older mundane actions can have horrendous results when you aren't paying attention to what you are doing. Heck, I've been climbing stairs my whole life LOL and this one little slip up might really affect my playing abilities. Anyone have any experience with nerve damage in a hand? I have no feeling in my pinky and half of my ring finger. Might have to finally buy a slide if I want to keep playing while it heals.

And today’s update. The surgery went well, it was a little more extensively damaged and the doc had to reattach both my ulnar nerve and tendon. They left the ulnar artery as is as I had good blood flow using just the other one in the wrist since it was severed. Post op need to keep it elevated and need to wiggle all my fingers at least ten times an hour or more, which sucks as it hurts as the pain meds wear off, but I’m going to do it as it’ll speed up the recovery. I really have to stay positive about this, but I am scared it’ll affect my guitar and piano playing.

Thanks guys. I’m doing okay. Yesterday was a bad day with a lot of post op pain, but got a good nights sleep last night. Hopefully it’ll get better every day, but the doc said six months to fully recover with lots of PT if the nerve regenerates. If not I’ll have a clawed couple of fingers but fully functional for everyday tasks.

The disconnect is astounding in this one. There aren’t enough words to describe it, but Nutzoid sums it up pretty well. And yes, I just called Richard a name. I also call a kettle black.
