Be corrected then.  I was appalled at Obama's "phone and pen" approach to environmental and business regulations, and I am sure that I posted about that.  I applauded the Supreme Court when they reigned in Obama's administrative abuses.  Actually, I have been one of the most consistently libertarian members of this small forum for years.

You are wrong of course.  I don't know if I posted on this topic, and I do know that my participation here has waxed and waned since 2004.  I certainly do not have the time to research 8 years of my postings from the Obama years, but if you want to undertake that task then be my guest.  Rest assured, I have never been a fan of Obama's administrative overreach and I did applaud the Supreme Court's limiting opinions.  

Your refusal to believe this is annoying.  I am reminded of Russ's post right before Easter.  Why am I wasting time with someone who won't take my word for something?  Also, my stated position regarding Obama on this issue frankly should come as no surprise to anyone who has read my libertarian stuff over the years.  Greg, Mel - do you guys think that I would have given Obama a pass on his pen and phone activism?

Do you recall a single thread where I supported extraordinary executive action?  Of course not.  I've posted thousands of times since 2004.  I've been a constitutional conservative/libertarian/states rights guy that entire time.  Do you realize how ridiculous and annoying it is to correct your straw men?

But seriously, isn't campaigning for subsequent presidents a new phenomenon?  I think that traditionally the former presidents tended to keep a low profile.  Carter/Clinton being exceptions I guess.

Hi Rod:

I'm going to have to watch one of these briefings one of these days.  My expectation is that they aren't as bad as you guys say they are - I kind of expect the president to cheer-lead through this crisis.  I could be surprised though.
