You don't suppose he took the Whiffenpoofs too seriously and spent too much time "at the tables down at Morey's" do you?

Re: how about that Tom DeLay?

Posted By Darrell Fichtl

Like everything else in DC it'll be another three ring circus with the media in full sail.

The Truth, HA! Who cares about the truth anymore as long as the media can have it's circus.

I don't know if he's guilty or not and for that matter is he just doing what everyone else is and just happened to get caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Who knows!

I don't particularly care for DeLay but if you wiped out all the politicians that I didn't care for the Senate would probably shrink to 25 or less. The house would probably drop to 50.

Compassionate God

Posted By Darrell Fichtl

To all who think there is such a thing:

1. HIV/AIDS
2. Avian Flu
3. Asian Tsunami
4. Hurricane Katrina
5. Hurricane Rita

If there is a God, let's face facts, we're nothing more than slime mold in a petri dish to him/her/it. He/She/It couldn't care less. We're just nothing more than an experiment! How ya like them apples?

Of course there is always the old saying that Father Carvilan used to say, "God works in mysterious way!"

I'd say, "God doesn't work at all. If he does, he's been sitting on his ass for some time."

Re: liberal distortion inside the White House

It's horrible even to talk in these terms, of course

Ray:

People think in these terms and keep their mouths shut don't they? Not that I agree with Bennett but I'd rather deal with someone who speaks his mind rather than a hypocrite.

What really pisses me off is when someone tells the absolute truth, in the press or TV, and then gets the rotten end of the shaft for doing that.

In many ways we form the epitome of hypocrisy in the entire world don't you think?

Sandy:

My three favorites:

Romance from the Gadfly - Dmitry Shostakovich also was the theme for Riley Ace of Spies.
Theme from "Somewhere in Time"
Eighteenth Variation (From "Rhapsodie On A Theme Of Paganini") - Sergei Rachmaninoff

New beginng

The way it looks now is that there is very little difference between the Republicans and the Democrats. It's not policy, it's whose got the "POWER"

Face facts, you can't really call Bush Brains government Republican can you? The government today is larger than ever. States rights seem to be going down the tube. The welfare state flag is flying in full bloom.

We need to start a new party. How about naming it the Conservative Party. Ben Franklin (a penny saved is a penny earned) as the masthead figure. This time lets have a separation of church and state for a change. Thomas Jefferson got it right in the first place.

What continues to totally astonish me is how people, that you may feel have normal intelligence, can swallow Moon's hype!

And they still let these people vote!!

No wonder we're in such a mess!

Sandy:

Definitely yes!

If you consider the impact they have on your life, well at least on mine. I've learned a long time ago that when faced with a perplexing problem it's always best to "sleep on it" and I do so all the time.

I've done a lot of computer programming and solutions to programming problems often arise during sleep.
