There's a group of people that believe that the "elitists" are former commies that are attempting to control the world via environmental regulations. They call them "Watermelons". Green on the outside, red on the inside. Maybe there's some truth there.

I'm certain Jesus was against murder. He was also an advocate for justice and the defense of the weak. I just read, yesterday, about Moses. One act of violence, he came to the aid of an Israelite being beaten, and killed him. In another instance, he tried to verbally defuse an argument. In a third, he intervened for the Midian women who wanted to water their animals. Different responses for different situations. Go ahead and "turn the other cheek" if someone breaks into your home. But that would leave your family in danger. It would be more morally correct, imo, to stop the intruder, whatever it takes, so that my family would not be injured/killed. Then, if he is still alive, give him a fair trial before hanging him with a new rope.

Do you mean the system that we have now that gives out food stamps, free medical/dental care, housing subsidies, free education to the poor?In which anyone can go to an emergency room and get medical treatment-emergency or not, and not have to have insurance or any means to pay for it. In which these "poor" people usually have at least 1 car, 2tvs, microwave, x-boxes, and more? The poor that can get an "earned income tax credit" even if they owe no taxes that pays them cash from the Fed Gov't (taxpayers). Nearly 1/2 of the wage earners in this country pay NO federal tax at all. So, just what IS this "unjust system" that so many believe exists?

I think that the space program shojld be considered an economic stimulus issue. R&D from the science always seems to have benefits outside its own laboratory. Electronic miniaturization, medicine, the list is long.

Total Knee replacement, anyone have?Posted By Mark Norby |
My wife, in her forties (I dare not say which one)had her left knee replaced after a couple of yrs of injections, etc. The recovery process is many months. Keep up the physical therapy, exercise, and your spirits. Your leg will get better.
