Here is Maurolycus taken on November 11, 2006. This was probably the finest night I've had while imaging the Moon.

Arctic Saturn

Hi all,

This is my first image of Saturn in 2007. It was taken when the temperature was about 12 degrees F/-11 degrees C. Hopefully next time I can image in warmer weather. grin
Meade 8" LX90 @ f/35, DMK 21AF04 camera for luminance/Atik 1C for color, 1600 frames for L and 1000 frames for RGB, taken 6:05 UT on January 18, 2007.

Hyginus & Ariadaeus

Hi everyone,

This is a two image mosaic of Rima Hyginus & Rima Ariadaeus, along with a portion of Rimae Triesnecker from images I took on November 11, 2006. This was not meant to be a mosaic as you can see from the rotation of the Hyginus image due to my Alt/Az setup, but they still fit together nicely.
Meade 8" LX90 SCT @ f/25, DMK 21AF04 camera, each image is 400/2250 frames, 12 alignment points each in Registax 4, mosaic stitched together in Photoshop.

Hi all,

Taken on March 9th with my Meade 8" LX90 SCT @ f/35, DMK 21AF04 camera for luminance and ATiK 1C for RGB.
1600 frames used for luminance and 900 frames for RGB, taken in 5/10 seeing.

Hi all,

It's been a while since I posted here. This is an image of Saturn I took last night in the suburbs south of Boston. The seeing was very good about Pickering 6-7/10.
The luminance data for the image was taken with my DMK 21AF04 camera at 30fps, capturing 3 avi's totaling 10,000 frames. The color data was taken with my Atik 1C camera at 10fps, capturing 2 avi's totaling 4600 frames. Both images were processed separately and then combined in Photoshop. All were taken with my 8" Meade LX90 which was operating at f/35.
