Man with a rifle walked into a medical building, got up to the second floor, killed three and wounded others, and is now dead himself. What a wonderful country this has become. Maybe the doctors should have been packing, too, just like elementary school teachers so they can confront the shooter?

I'll bet that this shooter had back surgery and then ate up all of his Oxycodone in a day or two of getting out of the hospital. They work really good until you run out. Then he went mad when his surgeon wouldn't give him any more. If there had been a waiting period or background check when buying the rifle maybe he could have cooled off before committing his vendetta against the poor doctors and their staff. 

Maybe the folks who cut off funding for the mentally ill should have thought about the possible consequences of their actions. A few crazy bad apples make the whole bunch of gun owners look bad when it comes to the AR-15 assault style weapons of war that gun shop owners will be happy to sell you on your 18th birthday.

The point is that they had to take DNA samples from their parents to identify the children. If anti abortionists can show pictures of a three month old fetus to get their point across there should be pictures of the carnage that the AR15 did to those school children.

They outlawed machine guns 90 years ago. Why not assault-style rifles? Why not raise the legal age to 21 like the law is for handguns and buying liquor?

They always gloss over those first four words of the 2nd amendment.

I say they should regulate that all guns be kept in a verified secure gun safe unless when in use for sport or recreational activities.

They should regulate that all guns must be registered, the owner should take a required course on the safety of firearms before purchase, in other words be licenced, and a through federal background check be completed before anyone can buy a firearm. Require that owners must take out liability insurance for their firearms.

Make it illegal for anyone under the age of 21 to buy or possess any firearm.

Those are not infringements, they are safety regulations.
