Let's be honest Greg, if HCQ were a miracle cure, we would know it by now. If this were the case, we would see definitive results, even in non-randomized, low sample size studies. We do not see that.
Additionally, I think you completely missed one of my points. The study you so boldly held up would not stand up to even the mildest amount of research critique. It's not peer-reviewed yet. It's from China. The authors, their potential bias, and the funding of the study are unverifiable. The website that released the report is unreliable. Even Dr. Doogie Davis could get his crack-pot internet research published there. All he would have to do is ask them. Okay, this is an obvious over-exaggeration, but the website is suspect.
So, yes, you are overstating the case badly.
I never said it was a miracle cure or even implied so lol
I have said that the anecdotal evidence is growing and that studies are underway.....and I simply posted a link to the 1st completed study results I saw. I never said anything regarding its scientific legitimacy. Yet I am according to you "boldly" going about it and overstating the case badly.....meanwhile the anecdotal evidence continues to come out. My only position on this is were I laying in the hospital dying I would gladly give it go regardless of all your negative ninny sky is falling rhetoric. In fact if there were evidence that koolaid had been known to be effective I would only ask for grape flavored and plenty of it instead of lying there waiting to die....
I have also seen claims that quinine combined with zinc has been used successfully as well.....so bring on the Sweps mineral water and zinc tabs as well LOL
