Go Avs!  Hopefully we hoist Lord Stanley's Cup tonight.

Have a great weekend all, I'm outa here!

Yeah, well, Go Avs and all that, but I still hate them.

No matter what happens in tonight's game I'm going to record E60 on ESPN this Sunday @ 1 pm EDT with an episode titled Unrivaled, the story of the rivalry between the Avs and the Red Wings in the 90's. I remember watching the Wing/Montreal game in which Detroit scored 7 goals against Patrick Roy, enroute to a 12-0 win in Montreal, which basically got him fired and he then vowed he'd never play another game for the Habs. He was traded to Denver four days later. There's that dirty hit on Draper by Claude Lemieux, the fight between Roy and Vernon, and the fight the next year with Roy and Osgood. I'm a big Ozzy fan and this picture hangs on our Red Wing Wall in my store. I get a kick out of the expressions on the Wings on the bench.

There is a free watch party at Little Caesars Arena Saturday night, but I'll watch it in the comfort of my living room with my son when he visits on Monday.

Wall Street Journal on Jan 6 hearings

Posted By Jim Moscheck
"The House January 6 select committee hearing on Thursday revealed that Representatives Matt Gaetz of Florida, Mo Brooks of Alabama, Louie Gohmert of Texas, Andy Biggs of Arizona and Scott Perry of Pennsylvania were among the Republicans who sought the pardons.

Cassidy Hutchinson, a former aide to then-White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, also said that she had heard from a different person that GOP Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia sought a pardon, according to Raw Story."

Please tell me why you need a pardon if you didn't commit a crime. Doesn't using a pardon require you to admit guilt?

You mean the guy involved in the college wrestling sex scandal? That Jim Jordan?

What Jim Jordan says means squat, he's a liar just like your idol DJT.

Yeah, dim prospects indeed. She worked for Steve Scalise and Ted Cruz while in college before she took the job to work as aide to the Chief of Staff. They are all pretty dim. OTOH she seems really smart and confident for a 25 year old.

She's going to get rich writing a book about this and since I'm a capitalist I'm all for it. Better than all the Trumpites writing their books after they should have spoke up during the second impeachment. I'm looking at you Bill Barr. Yeah, those folks are real heros.
