First light with my SAC4-II camera

Nice one, Paul. If you don't mind a few questions from a SAC-IV (original) user:

1. What resolution did you shoot at? 640x480? Or 320 x 240?
2. What software did you use to capture the video?
3. Is the camera USB 1.1 or 2.0?
4. Specs for computer used for capture?

The reason for my questions is that with my SAC IV original, running the software that came with it (VidCap) on a P-III 700 Mhz laptop with 256Mb RAM at 640x480, I'm dropping what seems like 70% of my frames. Very frustrating to say the least. > sad

Very nice, Ivan! Amazing! 15 minutes total? With an LPS filter?!? Wow. This is one object that has so far eluded my imaging it (so many targets, so little time).

I second the LPS filter. That helped the processing of my M81/82 image.

Focus looks good to me, Brian! Then again, we're our own worst critics. Great shot, and as I told Ivan on his version, this is a target that has so far eluded me (not so much by its availability but by my being distracted by so many other targets).
