The RHA is in production and being shipped out (a friend in Germany just got his) .... the AP130GT is still in production with one more run (for now) scheduled and which will be followed by slightly larger aperture refractors which will mean the AP140 and/or AP160.

I really like your result! In additional to the tidal waves, you also have one of the Holmberg galaxies visible as well.

I have an ST-10XME and I swear by it. I am somewhat surprised you exchanged it for the STL-11k but I can see where you are coming from (ABG, larger field of view).

I experience this as well when specifying compound requests.

Specify something using a single word and you are fine. Specify two or more words and the message comes up.

M106 - first attempt

Some of the stars around M106 itself look non-circular. One or two bad subs thrown into the mix just to have a sample result?

Any info on the subs and exposure time?

Very late on the latest results ....

What I find really interesting about this result (monochrome and false-colour) is the extent and depth of the extended nebulosity.

1000MM f10 Russian reflex camera lens

The photos speak for themselves ... and they are stunning.

Because of a similar thread you initiated two years (or so) ago, I picked up the 500mm/f8 version and with which I am very happy.

I guess I will have to be on the look-out now for the 1000mm version. :-)
