Help me reach prime focus!

does anyone know how I can connect my OM-1 35mm. film camera to the draw tube on my Widefield 102 refractor? Here is the problem; using a 2" dia. my TV. everbrite I have no trouble. but when I remove the dia. and try to attach straight through I have to rack the draw tube all the way out and then hold my camera 2" out in space to reach focus. Is there an adapter available to span this distance? thanks, John Meiners

Just checked my Starry Night Program.. For us up in the Pacific Northwest, Portland/Seattle... the Moon rises at 1900 hrs. on Wed. Oct. 27th, As it rises, it will already be well within the Earth's shadow as it ascends from the Eastern Horizon.As luck will have it up here it will be raining or overcast! John M

Beautiful Arch

Veiwed from the Pacific Northwest..Coast of OR. I was awed by a pleasing arrangement of Stars and of Saturn.. Early COLD morning hours a few days ago I noticed four bright objects as they drew a wonderful rainbow type arch (minus the spectum of colors) in the Western sky.. It was Procyon, Saturn, Castor & Pollux.. Boy am I glad I invested in my new Dew system! John M

Bino-Vue on PST ?

Has anyone had any success adapting a bino-Vue to their PST? I see Mr. Siebert has a unit for $200. saw an image on this forum, looked pretty good. Just wondering has someone tried one, thank you.. Newbie question?

Has anyone tried MEADE'S "Deep Sky Imager" with Aut*Star/Suite?? At under $300. seems like an entry level introduction.. Just saw the ad on the back page of ASTRONOMY (Feb. 05') I have a Celestron C8 and was thinking of trying one out.. Or should I save my nickels & dimes for a better unit. The images they posted were impressive, especially M-51. Which is just a fuzzie when I observe visually, thanks for your input (help) John M PS what is a Registax V3 ??
