A Close Call

At least someone is going into harm's way for a closer look:

I'm glad they made it out in one piece.

McCain's Republican Sleeze Busted

Posted By Rod Kaufman
Looks like McCain just lost another Republican lawmaker, er ah lawbreaker, and campaign co-chair:

Romney Again?

Posted By Rod Kaufman
Will Romney flip flop again by re-entering the race for the GOP nominee?
It appears that way:
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2008/02/romneyback.html
It now seems that Romney is saying he only "suspended" his campaign but he didn't "terminate" it.
Hmm...with McCain on the ropes and uncle Huck sticking like a thorn in the side of McCain, anything is possible with the ultimate flip flopper...

How Bush Treats Allies

Britain has been a steadfast supporter of Bush policies in Iraq and for that they get:

It's just another example of why America's standing in the world has suffered so much under the Bush admministration...

Our "Informed President"

Posted By Rod Kaufman
The reports of gasoline approaching $4.00/gallon have been widely circulated on radio, TV, cable, satellite, newspapers and just about any other communication source you may choose, including, in the president's words, "I use the google."
But, alas, it seems the only one on the planet who's never heard of it is our one and only George W Bush!
http://money.cnn.com/2008/02/28/news/economy/bush_energy_policy/index.htm?cnn=yes
Bush's answer for the upcoming $4.00/gallon cost of gas that he's never heard of until today?
Make his tax cuts permanent!

McCain's Temper

Posted By Rod Kaufman
It's well known that John McCain has quite a temper. Bob Dole talked about it the other night on Larry King Live. Today, he displayed it in public because he didn't like a question from a reporter:
http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/M/MCCAIN_REPORTER?SITE=CASCN&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT
If he can't handle a question that he doesn't like from a newspaper reporter, what's he going to do when another world leader does something he doesn't like? I think we already got a bit of a hint when he said he looked into the eyes of Vladimir Putin and he saw only one thing: "KGB."
Is this the kind of a guy we want answering the phone at 3:00am in the White House in an emergency situation with his finger on the trigger?

The IRS & Your 42 Million

Posted By Rod Kaufman
The IRS is all set to spend 42 million of the taxpayer's money just to inform you of your impending rebate check:
http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/03/08/tax.letter.ap/index.html
A complete waste of money on a program that won't accomplish its goals anyway...

Bush calls torture and indispensible tool

Posted By Rod Kaufman
We need a leader who will take the call at 3:00 am and make the right decision...to torture. And there's plenty of guys right here on the AM who will be more than happy to help. It's about time we stand up for America and what's right in the world. God bless America!
