How many did he save with his concealed carry permit??

Posted By Jim Moscheck

Looks pretty accurate to me, Jim. It's too bad this is more or less the sum total of who has remained active on this forum. Some were banned when this forum was actually moderated, some have unfortunately passed on, and I'm sure many decided it's not worth the aggravation of posting when the rabid dog of the right starts foaming at the mouth with his insults, putdowns, and general lack of self awareness.

You have me pegged well and I've been quite consistent for the whole run.

Trump Claims Justice Department Cannot Prove He Ever Acted as a President

Posted By Jim Moscheck

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Predicting that “their case is about to fall apart,” Donald J. Trump claimed that the Department of Justice has “zero proof” that he ever acted as a President.

“This is the greatest witch hunt of all time,” Trump told Fox News’s Sean Hannity. “Merrick Garland and the D.O.J. will never, ever find evidence of me doing something a President would do.”

“This is like accusing Rudy Giuliani of being a lawyer,” he added.

As for the White House aides who have been called before a grand jury, Trump said, “If any of them come up with even one example of me being a President, they’re lying.”

Calling the D.O.J.’s investigation of him a “disgrace,” he warned, “If I can be accused of being a President, then anyone can. This should never be allowed to happen in our country.”

Obviously satire from the New Yorker, but this isn't:

If y'all had told me 45 years ago this rocker would be into some types of country music I'd have said you were crazy. My country tastes are based around the country rock of the late 60's and 70's and the singer/songwriters of the time. Don't like modern country or bro country at all, but a good song is a good song no matter what the genre.

Due to my hand injury I've been kicking around the idea of getting a lap or pedal steel, but worried that the learning curve will be too steep for this old guy. This is the kind of stuff I enjoy and is on one of my favorite albums. Also dig Emmylou Harris, listened to her a lot when I lived in Colorado in the early 80's and saw her at the Greeley Stampede in '82.

It’s official: The attack on McMorrow backfired.

Posted By Jim Moscheck

Y'all might remember a few months back I posted the viral video of Michigan state senator Mallory McMorrow's speech on the house floor of her response after being accused of being a groomer by a GOP colleague.

Here's the OG thread:

https://astromart.com/forums/commentary-careful-read-the-terms-of-service/politics/michigan-state-senator-mallory-mcmorrows-speech-yesterday?page=1

"The Michigan Republican state senator who falsely described McMorrow as a “groomer” in an April fundraising email raised less than $300 in the days following the solicitation, according to campaign finance filings. McMorrow, on the other hand, raised more than $1 million.

Anyways, I saw this story on Apple News this morning and the bald guy standing next to Mallory is my friend Frank Liberati, who was a state rep at the time of the photo and is now running for state senate. He owns a bakery here in the Detroit suburbs. They make excellent pepperoni rolls and pizza slices.

House Passes Assault Weapons Ban Bill/And About That Burn Pit

Schumer should put it up for a vote anyways. Let see where they all stand on the issue and be counted. That's going to convince suburban moms, young people, and independents to vote for the GOP, right?

Hmmm, not a word here about the missing texts messages

Not surprised no one here on the right is following this. (On Edit: Greg did respond and didn't know about it, but said if true it's despicable.)

Now it appears the DHS did the same thing as the secret service. Texts from this key period leading up to the violence on January 6 that Congress has been requesting for months and they just learned were deleted.

“It appears the DHS Inspector General has known about these deleted texts for months but failed to notify Congress,” Thompson said. “If the Inspector General had informed Congress, we may have been able to get better records from senior administration officials regarding one of the most tragic days in our democracy’s history.”

Considering how badly you guys had your panties all in a bunch about Hillary's deleted emails and all I hear are crickets. Kind of hypocritical.

Yep, I knew instantly it deserved it's place with the Twin Towers coming down and should even be right there with Pearl Harbor, also!
So, Mel, if Biden f'd up and does something stupid and possibly illegal like Trump did it'd be okay for his secret service detail and DHS to scrub their phones of any incriminating texts, even after being told not to?? It's okay to destroy evidence as long as it benefits your guy? Doesn't look fishy at all, huh Mel?

Unfortunately the under reporting of this will guarantee many veterans will still vote for the party that pretends they support the military. Fist bumps all around on the house floor. It's f'ing outrageous.

Simple yes or no question above, but you'll dance forever rather than giving the simple scientific answer because the truth destroys the leftists's agenda.

The only reason it seems bizarre is that you seem to be making it bizarre, by going through your extraordinary efforts to not answer a simple yes or no question James.

And I'm not the one who brought up fairies on a pinhead!  LOL  tongue
