Covid-19 data and graphs

Once you get past all the partisan finger pointing the data is informative.....but all the "Trump said" "Trump did" is distracting. Trump mostly repeats what he is told by his advisors at any given point....Yet its all about shooting the messenger LOL

For my purposes I prefer the raw data such as on the worldometer site over the noise from the finger pointers and making up my own mind about where we stand.....

WHO suspends hydroxychloroquine trial

I know I would NOT.....I would however do so if I were attending a large outdoor gathering where proximity were an issue. Common sense goes a long way with me but an arbitrary order to do so regardless of conditions? NOPE.

Given the current information I do wear one when I am indoors where others outside of family are likely to be close (for instance the grocery store) and I would as already stated do so outdoors were I in a gathering where proximity was an issue. I dont need an order to use common sense. However I was never in the military and the primary reason I was not is I dont take orders well.....in fact I openly oppose being ordered to do pretty much ANYTHING......just not in my nature.

celestron 9.25 gps nexstar is broke need help

Yes, the error 16 and 17 refers back to the alt and az motor communications with the HC not being present.

You need to look into clearing and updating the firmware..... I think there is a process for forcing a firmware reinstall to the HC but I don't know the procedure. According to what I know errors 16 & 17 refer to the motors and the error is due to the absence of the firmware for the control of those motors. I'm assuming that somehow the on board programmable memory chip "eeprom" was erased. Perhaps by the cable you used causing a short ie surge because it was wired wrong.....

This is just educated guessing based on having read quite a bit on the 16/17 error.....I dont know enough to tell you how to go about fixing it but this should help put you on the right track..... There is a Celestron forum on Cloudy Nights that has a lot of information on the issue as well as some very knowledgeable folks who have been down the same road....

Read and weep James LOL

Today in the Oval Office, President Trump signed an Executive Order to fight online censorship by technology corporations, including social media platforms.

In the next few hours/days, you may hear a lot about this Executive Order. Left wing media will claim it addresses a fake problem because tech bias doesn’t exist. Democrats in Congress will say the President is exceeding his authority. Some in the Beltway establishment will say the order doesn’t do that much in the first place.

All of these are lies. Here are a few of the key actions in President Trump’s order:

Makes it U.S. policy that platforms who selectively edit, censor, or are not acting in “good faith” with regards to content will not receive the liability protection included in Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act

Directs the Commerce Department to petition the FCC to make clarifying rules on Section 230 in line with U.S. policy

Helps stop millions of taxpayer dollars from being wasted by federal agencies on advertising with biased social media platforms

Ensures the Justice Department will review more than 16,000 complaints about politically motivated censorship that were collected by the White House in advance of a Social Media Summit held last year

Mobilizes State Attorneys General—who have massive subpoena and consumer protection authorities—to ensure social media platforms are not engaging in unfair or deceptive acts or practices

Acts as federal law and lists the many ways in which tech platforms act with bias against viewpoints they disagree with

Massive corporations that treat millions of American citizens unfairly shouldn’t expect special privileges and protections under the law. With President Trump’s Executive Order today, our country is one step closer to having an honest, fair public debate.

Possibly.....though you and I are not lawyers. The fact remains that the vast majority of what he has been challenged on has ultimately held up.....

It is readily apparent the Trump folks anticipated both Rod and James by prefacing the press release with:

Thank you for any help,

Assuming you are using a computer/laptop/notepad open the classifieds page, look at the options on the left side of the page. One of them says "Place a new ad" or something to that effect. One other thing is if you dont have your screen set to a high enough resolution the left and right columns may be hidden and require clicking on an arrow to expand them out and see the options

.....cant say on a smart phone as I dont use mine for surfing.....
