Egyptian Newspaper on Bush

Posted By Rod Kaufman

A front page editorial in a major Egyptian newspaper captures the essence of the American experience with Bush when the paper proclaimed him, "A failed president who delivers nothing but a lousy speech!"
Bush! Bush voters!!!

Bush Defends Saudis on Oil

Posted By Rod Kaufman

The president of the United States of America, George W Bush, defended the Saudis on the issue of oil. We should all be relieved to know our president is defending THEIR oil and THEIR country in our time of need. Thank God he is defending them against us. We all know George W Bush is a true conservationist at heart and he really has the issue of the environment at the top of his Saudi agenda. Only he could look after the house of Saud in a manner befitting to a king:

Another one bites the dust

This one markes the FIFTH McBush co-chair forced to resign!
You would think the so-called candidate of experience would have his campaign do a better job of vetting his heads of his own staff but...

Bush Defends OPEC Against US, Part2

Posted By Rod Kaufman

Last week, Bush defended Saudi Arabia over American interests and this week he's back at it again! The House of Representatives passed a bill with bipartisan support that gives America the authority to go after OPEC for price-fixing via anti-trust legislation but Bush won't stand for it and he will, in effect, veto it! I say let America have its day in court and let the court decide!

Who Repudiates Better?

Posted By Rod Kaufman

Who repudiates better? McCain or Obama?
Now that both candidates have repudiated their endorsements from pastors, who has the qualifications to do the better job? Take McCain, for example, since he's obviously got the experience now that his camp has seen the passing of six advisers and everything that goes with it. The initial joy of support and hope, dashed by the reality of shame and apology plus the endorsements of two pastors with one equating the holocaust with God's will and the other throwing lightening bolts at Islam.
I ask you, is that an experience or what?
Then there's the new kid on the block. Obama, brash, skinny, articulative and married by a weirdo! The joy of it all, eliminated in fleeting seconds of a You tube rant!
Who has the better experience at repudiation? McCain or Obama!?

McCains Health

Posted By Rod Kaufman

Great news! The nystantins are working! McCain's cholesterol level is within semi-normal limits!
I couldn't believe McCain's doctor proclaimed him "fit for duty"! What a crock! McCain has had no less than four of the most lethal forms of skin cancer removed plus another somewhat less serious skin cancer removed a few weeks ago.
To hear McCain's doctor tell it, you would think he's the epitome of health.
In the private sector, placing McCain's age aside, he would never get a job(let alone health care insurance).
Believe me, after seeing patients demand and get disability for less, McCain wouldn't have any difficulty in qualifying for disability. Oh, I forgot, he already has disability. Somebody evidently forgot to tell his doctor.
For a man who can't even raise his arms over his own head, it's quite a stretch to proclaim him in excellent health...

Bush Compares Iraq with WW2

Posted By Rod Kaufman

I think it's evident that both you and Dubya fail to realize conventional warfare can't combat a global ideology nor do either of you recognize an ongoing civil war in Iraq when you see it.
I think it's also evident McCain is way off in his prediction regarding the successful completion of the mission in Iraq in 2013. Don't you guys remember what Bush declared? "Mission accomplished!"

Bush Compares Iraq with WW2

Posted By Rod Kaufman

Dubya compared the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan with WW2 today. In addition he defined the criteria for success in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan:
1. No Al Quaeda
2. Economically viable
3. Strong democracies that can self-govern
4. Allies on the war on terror
http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/05/28/bush.commencement/index.html
Looks like we're in for a long one...longer than WW2. I'm glad to know that McCain thinks we will have won in Iraq by 2013 but, just in case, will have bases there for a hundred years. We haven't yet seen a prognosis for Afghanistan but with the "planning" that's typical of the Bush administration, we won't know unless McCain revisits his crystal ball and let's us in on the future...
