Federal Judge To Trump Campaign: "Prove It"

There are a few here who are dumb enough to believe that.  You being one of them.

The resume of the Colorado Secretary of State, Jena Griswold; who has become a national figure helping other states assure that their mail in systems are reasonably safe and effective:

Jena Marie Griswold is Colorado’s 39th Secretary of State, and began her term on January 8, 2019. She is the youngest elected Secretary of State in the United States. Griswold grew up in a working-class family in rural Colorado and was the first person in her family to attend a four-year college and then law school. She knows first-hand how important it is for every vote to count and for every Coloradan's voice to be heard, no matter their background or income. She will protect our right to vote, fight secret political spending, improve transparency, and stand up to those who try to bend the rules or break the law.

Griswold has practiced international anti-corruption law and worked as a voter protection attorney, where she made sure Coloradans were able to participate in our democracy. She served as the Director of the Governor of Colorado’s DC Office, advocating on behalf of Colorado in D.C. During that time, Griswold was instrumental in bringing back hundreds of millions of relief dollars to help the Colorado communities hit by the 2013 flood. Before her election to Colorado Secretary of State, Griswold ran her own small business, a legal practice in Louisville.

Griswold holds a B.A. in Politics and Spanish Literature from Whitman College and a J.D from University of Pennsylvania Law School. Griswold is fluent in Spanish and a graduate of Estes Park High School in Estes Park, Colorado. In 2006, Griswold was awarded the Watson Fellowship, and in 2009, the Penn Law International Human Rights Fellowship. Griswold lives in Louisville, Colorado.

So, according to an alleged 'cabinet maker' and locally well known internet crank, this highly accomplished young woman is a "complete IDIOT."  I don't think those words mean what Rich thinks they mean.

Same guys in Ft. Wayne.  We were probably watching Detroit TV at the time.  I was too young to know and certainly did not know until today that the old big-time wrestling was regional.

I actually saw him wrestle back in the mid-'80s here in Alexandria. He was one of my favorites.
Bummer, he died last week.  Hospitalized with Covid-19, leading to cardiac arrest.  Long time diabetic who had both legs amputated.  Tragic.

This obituary in the NYT really makes you think about some of the issues we have talked about recently.  Racism, stereotypes, Covid-19.

I think that Barr is extremely intelligent and extremely competent.  Hi is also a careful speaker and not easily trapped.  I suggest you re-read his remarks, as opposed to re-reading someone's spin on his remarks.

If I had the opportunity, I would ask Barr one simple question, and I expect he would answer, unlike you Dodge Ball.  The question is this:  If massive mail in ballot fraud is so inevitable, how come Colorado has experienced no significant increase in mail-in ballot fraud since we became an entirely mail-in and drop-off voting state many years ago?

When questioned as to whether or not mail in ballots will lead to "FRAUD", the first word out of his mouth was "YES".

So I'd suggest Bookkeeper Brown, that you get your facts in order before you make stupid statements like this:    as opposed to re-reading someone's spin on his remarks.
Like I said, Barr is an impressive intellect.  He played you and the rest of the Fox viewers like a fiddle.

Of course the answer to the question of; "will mail in ballots lead to fraud?" is yes.  That is not the relevant question, as Bill Barr knows.  It does advance the administration's agenda, and it is a true statement.  It was masterfully done.

Find for me in the Barr interview where he suggests that the inevitable but extremely limited fraud experienced by mail-in states like Colorado exceeds the inevitable but extremely limited fraud experienced by other states.  That has been my point all along.  To the extent you think that I have been arguing that mail-in is "fraud proof" you are simply not reading my posts.  Fraud will exist so long as there are criminals, but mail in is just as safe as other voting plans.  You have never even tried to address this point, which I have been repeating for over a week now.   You prefer to speculate about how fraud might occur without looking at the incidence of actual fraud.  Pathetic.

If you can not answer that question, for yourself, Bill Barr or anyone else, then you have lost this argument.  Fraud is simply not a reason to avoid a Colorado-style mail-in election unless you can demonstrate that the fraud level with mail-in exceeds the normal voter fraud baseline.

Still unanswered.  Find us actual evidence that Colorado, Oregon, Washington or the 20+ states that have "no reason necessary" mail balloting have seen any significant uptick in the incidence of fraud, error, spoliation, or any other ballot issue over the baseline.  Isolated incidents of fraud don't cut it because isolated incidents of fraud have always existed.  I am sure you have heard of the Dailey's and their legendary machine in Chicago?  All accomplished using an in-person voting system.

Everyone who was in the market on March 18 (and stayed in) has experienced a comparable gain.   That graphic is accurate, but misleading, if the authors of the graphic had picked February 20 as the start date, all of those billionaires would have showed flat, or very modest gains.

I'm pretty sure the net value of your own assets, retirement plan, or pension have increased dramatically since March 18 too!
