Why Are Republicans Getting A Pass?

Posted By Rod Kaufman
Can somebody answer this for me? I hear the CNN commentators saying the same thing: not a word on Bush let alone a peep about McCain. Why?
McCain is constantly boring in, his attack ads appear daily, and wait until the Republican convention next week. You'll see the most raucous, road-rage inspired, mean-spirited mothers on the planet ready to knock your block off.
What gives with the Democrats?...
An example of what's coming:

The Economy Issue: Revisited

Posted By Rod Kaufman
With the more conservatiove posters declaring economic recovery in '09, I was wondering what the experts have to say:
http://money.cnn.com/2008/08/27/news/economy/economy_outlook/index.htm?cnn=yes
and a reality check:
http://money.cnn.com/2008/08/27/news/economy/bankruptcy/index.htm?cnn=yes
I don't know why the majority of people think they're better off today and why they'd continue to do so under a McCain administration...

Meanwhile, Back in Iraq

It appears the Iraqis were overjoyed when Condi blackwatered in for a vist last week. So much so that they want a firm deadline for a US withdrawl now...

Putin: US Initiated Georgian War

He may be all too familiar with the tactics of the neocons, which, of course, are all too glaring as a result of the fiasco in Iraq.
I wonder who the world is going to believe...

RNC Delegates age...

Posted By Rod Kaufman
Jake Jacobson said:

I am currently watching the coverage of the RNC convention and am struck by how every time they pan to the crowd of delegates, it looks like an AARP convention - most delegates appear to be 50 or older...... is it just me, or did it seem like the DNC delegates were younger on the whole?
It reminds me of when George Burns walked out on the stage and the first thing he would say was, "Better get the oxygen!"

Another Palin Ethics Problem

As usual the left slime machine is in full attack mode.

Read the article, she followed the rules and shook things up as she should have. Good job Sarah!

I was flipping through the radio stations yesterday afternoon and there was a lady who was ripping Palin a new one for having too many children. The lady said that Sarah was unfit for office because she showed irresponsibility by having more than 3 children. Aren't the loony left the ones who say that women should choose? Is choosing life irresponsible and murdering your own children the only responsible choice?

I believe that most voters are fair and will ignore the attacks by people like Rod and loons like the lady on the radio.
I don't blame the woman on the radio for knocking Palin on the size of her family. Overpopulation is one of the most critical issues facing mankind and many scientists note the upcoming freshwater crisis to supply it will make the oil crunch look like a cakewalk. In Los Angeles, for example, water restrictions are already in place and a lot of streets around city hall look like a third world country. Now we've added to the problem by having our future leaders do more of the same by parading their offspring on stage while they and their kids are popping them out like sardines...

Bob Woodward's New Book: Iraq/Surge

Posted By Rod Kaufman
As per KNX news radio: Bob Woodward has a new book coming out on the war in Iraq. He reportedly provides evidence that:
1. The surge is not responsible for improving security conditions in Iraq. Instead, improved US intelligence has resulted in covert actions that targeted and eliminated key insurgent leaders and it is the latter that has dramatically reduced the levels of violence in Iraq. It appears the US has taken a page from the government of Israel and instituted "head-hunting techniques" that specifically target terrorist leaders rather than an entire force.
2. The White House continually spies on Iraqi prime minister Maliki and knows everything he says and does.
3. Bush, for all intents and purposes, has a total reality disconnect regarding events in the war in Iraq.
It should make for some interesting reading...
