The last ad showing for you was from 3/21/10. If the ad contained information against the Terms of Service it was deleted. If you had personal information, a reference to eBay, a website URL, etc in the ad, it got deleted for a TOS violation. Just guessing here, but that is one of the main reasons ads "disappear" on AstroMart. It could have simply been a computer glitch. Try to post it again. If you get double charged, Herb will make it right.

Solar Filter for Canon IS 15x50 binoculars

You can safely make a pair of white light filters out of Baader Solar Film (available at AstroPhysics and Alpine Astro). They will have a set of written direction on how to do this when you purchase the film. The only way you are going to be able to see prominences is with a hydrogen alpha filter which is not feasible for binoculars. White light views will show the convection cells (orange peel effect) and sunspots. I think that some companies like Orion and other sell solar filter bino pairs, but you would have to research that to find out for sure.

Actually, I find that the easiest solution is to set my digital camera to a low resolution which is just fine for internet posting. Then I don't have to mess with resizing at all! Most digital cameras allow for this in the settings.

More than likely his account will be deleted/suspended for not having a required valid email address registered with AstroMart. If this is the one he registered with, Herb will have the same unusable address.

You might try going to his profile and selecting "Send private message to this user". He should receive a notification that he has unread messages in his AstroMart inbox.

Personal information in an ad will get it deleted. Phone numbers, URLs, email addresses etc. Also, a price has to be stated or it must go into the auction section. My educated guess is that you have SOMETHING in your ad(s) that is against the Terms of Service. shocked

You can rotate the components into any orientation you wish. There are set screws to allow for this. I changed out my set screws with stainless steel thumb screws, eliminating the need for those pesky, easy-to-drop allen wrenches!
