Sarah Goes To Debate Camp

Posted By Rod Kaufman

Sarah has been wisked away to "debate camp" in Sedona!
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/09/29/palin-heads-to-%e2%80%98debate-camp%e2%80%99-in-arizona/
A "crash course" in a rustic setting, fall colors, babbling brooks, an opportunity for Sarah to prove human foot prints co-exist with dinosaur foot prints, and away from the media...

More Lipstick on a Pig

Now that McCain has abandoned Michigan, Sarah and Todd have other ideas:
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/10/04/palin-disagrees-with-mccains-michigan-decision/
Since when is Todd Palin and ticket to win? These two are more full of themselves than a Christmas turkey.
And they can't be deterred by those pesky probes in their own home state while they're saving Michigan:

The McCain campaign will see to that:

She's a canned ham who definitely needs to do the perp walk...

"The wheels...coming off economy..."

Posted By Rod Kaufman

On the one hand I want Obama to win in November and the thought of an abomination like Palin as our president is too much to stomach, perhaps another dose of Republican insanity is needed before the country arises from its coma and the state of the economy eliminates the latter from our collective minds for years to come:

Fact Checking Palin's Claim

Posted By Rod Kaufman

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/10/05/fact-check-is-obama-palling-around-with-terrorists/
Three comments:
1. More of the same from the "straight-talk express."
2. Palin used the word "terrorists" in her speech at the Home Depot in Carson California. CNN and the rest of us are still waiting on an explanation of the pleural use of the word "terrorist" by Sarah Palin.
3. I don't know why the Home Depot hosted Ms Palin but I won't be doing business with them again.

Hi Chris,

I would be interested in an analysis of the projected net cost of this plan. For example, if the Fed buys 1.3T in short term commercial paper and is paid back at a reasonable interest rate with minimal defaults, the net cost will be reasonably low. If this move thaws the credit markets a bit, the net cost is worth it.

I don't want to sound like an irrational optimist, but the 1.3T figure (like the 700B figure) is being discussed in the popular press as a simple expense. It is not. Under certain scenarios (that are probably extremely far fetched,) the Fed makes a lot of money on these deals. Under no scenario are these simple expenditures of cash out with no possible recovery. for the press, the net projections lack the shock and awe value of the gross figures though....

Jim
Shock and awe? You want shock and awe? Try this:

The No-Talk Express Speaks

Palin panders to the press for 15 precious minutes. Will miracles never cease?
And how about that John McCain? He's back touting his $7000.00 tax exemption for every kid you pop out. Funny, I hadn't heard that one for awhile, and that one isn't on his website either...
