Re: What is the exit strategy?

Obama is the President of the US. He stated during the campaign that he is for getting us out of Iraq and having a build up in Afghanistan. I understand that he has directed the military to come up with a plan to be out of Iraq in 18 months. That is consistent with his campaign promise.

The libs attacked Bush for not having an exit strategy for Iraq. Now that Obama is going to have a build up in Afghanistan what is the plan, what is the exit strategy, where are the peacenik protesters? I understand that he is new to the office, but he has been acting as he was President for a month now complete with speeches. As soon as he was sworn in he immediately put forth plans and changes that libs wanted. Therefore, it is reasonable to ask the question on something as important as a war that he wants to grow.
Jim,
With all due respect, don't you think he's asking the military planners for a plan that not only encompasses a with drawl from Iraq but also for one that includes a comprehensive strategy for Afghanistan?

After less than a week in office, Mr Obama's presidency is already encountering the very partisan bickering he had pledged to stamp out during his first 100 days.

He faces mounting criticism over his $825 billion economic stimulus plan, from Republican leaders who say the legislation has been drawn up without the input which Mr Obama had promised to allow them.

The president responded with a clear signal that he is prepared to ram the bill through without the bipartisan consensus he promised to construct, telling Republican leaders from the House of Representatives: "I won. I'm the president."

I thought Obama was supposed to be brilliant. Ha. So far he has demonstrated that he is an idiot. His lack of experience is being demonstrated for all the world to show. The article does a great job of demonstrating what Obama really is. grin grin It is great. Hopefully all Republicans continue to resist and Obama's liberal failures all fail miserably and very publicly. 8)

This is just the start. How fun. 8) 8) It is our turn now.
Jim,
Your response to this article demonstrates who you really are, why you voted for a village idiot (twice, no less) and why you and your Republican faux-conservative values have been and continue to be a total failure...

Jim,
While it's axiomatic that logic, reasoning and understanding have never stood in the way of your personal interpretation of whatever link you choose to post, try easing up a bit on the smiley faces. We're already laughing, at you...

Bush "Legacy" on Natural Arches/Parks

Posted By Rod Kaufman

While I'm not thrilled with Obama's plan to put in 3000 miles of electric transmission lines to light up every town on the American planet, what Bush has done in shafting the nation's treasures, our national parks, is far worse:

The Limbaugh Petition

Posted By Rod Kaufman

I think Limbaugh is a disgusting viagra driven fat pig and is a principal respository for "news" that red neck America craves to hear, hence his contract and his popularity.
If I can register my disgust by signing a petition against him and I get some solicitations afterwards, big deal. I know how to push the "delete" button.
Rush is red neck at its worst...

So, shut up Limbaugh, who is next?

What ever happened to the right to free speech? Does this only apply to those that agree with your philosophy? How can one person be removed and yet freedom of opinion still be upheld?

If you do not want to listen or watch a program, don't! You are not required to watch or listen, you have a choice to watch something else, right?

So why do you think that anyone has the right to take anyone off the air for expressing his or her opinion?

Is this what the founding fathers had in mind, or is this just the opposite?

Freedom of speech is for everyone, including Limbaugh or any Liberals that also wish to be heard.

Whether you wish to hear them, that is your freedom to listen.
Who is next?
I had Ann Coulter in mind.
Seriously? Nobody thinks Rush is going anywhere, except to a drugstore for more Viagra and painkillers so freedom of speech really isn't the issue.
I do expect Rush to be called on the carpet, though, for making stupid remarks like "I hope Obama fails" or "we entered the Obama recession" three months before he took office.
Obviously, people will get upset with someone with his record and his inane statements and his multi-million dollar salary advanced at the expense of the truth.
People will call for his ouster but his "prescriptions" will continue...

The left was at the front of the line to use Bush and his Administration to make money for moveon.org, magazines and in so many ways. I do not remember a politician before this ever working actively to stop others from using their image, slogans or clips of speeches. I guess this is just another example of change some can believe in - typical Chicago politics.

Jim,
Your interpretation as well as your title of this thread is right up there with the most ludicrous and unsubstantiated posts you've come to be known by. You're definitely exceeding your expectations...
