RGB layers / Photoshop Elements ?

Hello all,

I have yet to spend the $$ on Photoshop 7.0 but am currently Photoshop Elements. I've been trying to align the RGB layers of the image below,but.......I continue to receive a warning screen that says "layer locked" I seem to have the same Layers Pallete as the more $$ Photoshop but cannot seem to align the color channels. Is there a simple solution to my problem (besides a course in Computer Graphics) :^)

Color Channels in Paint Shop Pro 8

Hello all,

I have just acquired the new version of Paint Shop Pro. I purchased it with the hope of improved image editing over my current version of Photo Shop " Elements". Can anyone help me with the color channel alignment process ? I am trying to finish current Mars images

Viewing RealTime via network.....Help????

Hello All,

I have finished networking all computers in our house via CAT5e cable. One of these being my desktop in my office and one of the others being my laptop (which I use to capture avi's with my ToUcam Pro.

I had high hopes of being able to view my video capturing RealTime via the network cable from lap top to desk top. This was my idea of solving the dropped frames issue with my Pentium II 10 G laptop. Is this possible?????

Hello everyone,

Here's my latest Saturn image. I'm trying to improve on the dropped frame rate of my laptop (Compaq Armada PII 10G hd).
I loose so many frames which turn out to great images. When viewed through the Registax frames list. An ideas on improving this?

More HELP with dropped frames.....please?

Hello everyone,

I continue to experience dropped frames when capturing at anything above 320x240.

I never use a frame rate above 10 fps-1/25. I use ToUcam software to capture ("webcam" or "V record"). I would like to be capturing at 640x480. I use the following Laptop:

Compaq Armada
PI with 10 G HD

Any ideas?

Hello all,

Here are the specs. on the laptop I've been using to capture AVI's with my ToUcam Pro 740

Compaq Armada
Pentium II 128 MB RAM
10 GB HD
Windows 98 2nd edition
System Rescources: 83% free
Disk Compression: not installed
Memory: 32 bit

Capture software: As supplied with ToUcam

I usually loose 4 out of 5 frames captured at 10 fps-1/25 ss

Should I reduce the frame rate to 5 fps?

I have tried to download K3ccdtools but when I try to open the file, I get a warning message :

" REINSTALL NETWORK PROTOCOL "

Any ideas on what I'm missing?

Hello all,

Haven't tried this for some time due to weather. March 1st seemed to be the best night in quite some time. Seeing and transparency were both 4/6 (average but good for CT).

Still trying to improve on my Registax "Wavelets" skills.
Any input would be appreciated. This avi. seemed to have a large number of useful frames below 25% diff. which seems to produce the best final image after stacking. Is this the correct path in processing with Registax ?
