C-11 f/ratio

The C-11 is an f/10 scope. With the reducer/corrector it can be stepped up to f/6.3.
1) How can (or can it) the f/ratio be stepped down (say to f/15)?
2) Is there any reason why this would be necessary? I'm thinking that this could give more magnification potential. Right or wrong?

C-11 Newbie Questions

Is it possible to get a full view of large objects, such as the sun, with a C-11? And of course I would be using a solar filter. Also, when using a Barlow or Powermate does this increase the f/ ? How much does it increase? Do you multiply by the barlow's or powermate's magnification (2X, 4X, etc...)? TIA

How long must we wait?

Does anyone know the wait time for a G-11? I ordered one in October from a dealer in D.C. and we still haven't seen it. They keep telling me that Losmandy is behind due to the 'Titan' debut. No other dealers have them ether. Now I am being told that it may be the end of January before we see it. Does anyone know the story? I would call Scott but I would rather have him spend his time on producing mounts rather than talking to an impatient customer.

TAK or TMB??

O.K. I've narrowed it to the TAK FS 102 the TMB 100/800 or the TMB 105/650. I'm looking for a good all around scope to take places, I already have a C-11. The TAK has a really great price. it is about $500.00 cheaper than the other two. I would like your opinions about these scopes. Pros and cons (if there are any).
