Hi,

I rescanned a few of my very old films. All of them suffered
from some problems, such as bent film, nonuniform development,
or strong sky gradient. I like how they look now, thanks to
the new scanner and perhaps an improved image processing skill.

Everyone is welcome to comment on it.

Talking about mosaic, I believe it is a powerful technique to create images with bot high resolution and wide field at the same time. Making a film mosaic like this one is painful. However, things get much easier when it goes to DSLRs. I would like to encourage DSLR people to try soma mosaics. Just combining two frames can totally change the feeling of the image, then you will fall in love with mosaics.

Barlow lens question

Hi,

I will try some Toucam imaging on planets with a C11. I figured I will need a 3x or 4x barlow lens. Is there any good ones for this purpose and reasonably priced? How about Meade series 5000 3x? Is there any barlow lens with variable power (for different planets)?

Just heard this. Announced by TAKon a Japanese magazine.
Only showed a picture of the lens cell.
Flourite + ED Triplet = FET
D = 300mm, F8, air spaced.
weight unknown, price unknow.....

I took this a few years ago when comet Ikeya-Zhang
visited. I used a Fuji 800 negative. I don't
rememer which lens I used, perhaps it's 28mm/F1.8.
I don;t remember the exposure time either.

The file size is about 5MB.
