Built-in barlow in a binoviewer?

Posted By Thomas Musser

Hi Levente,
Is there a lens in the nosepiece?
Instead of a barlow, a mild focal reducer?

Siebert Optics BlackNight,Question for Harry

I too have a question along the same line, I have a pair of older leather 24oz'ers BVs . Are there any update mods that can be done to these? I greatly prefer handcrafted but with diagonal to EP length on y axis at about 166mm, perhaps they be shortened?

Affordable widefield EP pairs, and UO HD Orthos.

Hi Vince,
I just bought a pair of 17mm 65°FOV (French Military) Erfles that I must say aren't bad. They are a bit heavy since the have built-in diopters, which can be a big plus, but on the other hand, I think they could be dropped four stories onto grass and be fine. They (as erfles tend) are fuzzy on the edges of my f/5 but for $30 each (new) shipped, I'm far from complaining.
