I had a good laugh about that ad. I own two of those scanners, one with scsi and one usb. When I purchased the original scsi model when it first came out, I paid $400.00. You never know, maybe the fella's model is the limited collectors edition, made out of "fools gold".

Overseas Shipment Lost, What now?

I would wait it out for a bit. My son was stationed in Italy for 4-years. We always mailed packages to him via USPS.Before his return trip home we mailed his airline ticket to him. Three months later he had still not received it. We went to the post office and had them check into it. The claimed that they could not figure out where it had gone to and said that we were out of luck. The packaged had been insured. The funny thing is that within 2-days the ticket arrived there.

Hi Robert,

Nice to see pictures now and then from back home. By brother and sister in-law owns a home in Kula, on Malapu'u Rd.

The last time I was on Haleakala was the full lunar eclipse, July 2000. I brought my TV-85 with me on that trip.
