Unemployment down. Are you really sure. In some area's its low in others nothing has changed much over the past 5 or 6 years. Remember those people who ran out of there unemployment insurance are not counted. Also you need to consider where would you go and what will you do if you get canned. Are you sure you would be making the kind of money that you once had. I know a lot of people who had to take as much as a 60% cut in wages from taking on their new job as a Wal mart greeter.

I might mention 30 years ago there was a massive recession in the United States, Phoenix Ariz was expecially hit hard. All the while the new media was reporting unemployment rates between 6 and 7 percent. Finally nearly 30 years after the fact after some digging and research the figures were in reality more like 20% unemployment for those years.

Getting back to the present those displaced workers are finding themselves out of work through outsourcing to foreign countries not becuase companies can get the work done cheaper more simply because they can. Those who are able to find work after running out of their unemployment benifits. Are able to find work but are making substatially less than where they were before also known as being underemployed.

I don't think for one moment think that things are getting better. You won't see me going out and purchasing any brand new cars or purchasing a new home anytime soon.

From my experience I would say that people are simply faking their so called Spiritual experience they are not any closer to God than the man in the moon. I've went through the same routine 35 years ago and quite frankly just did not get it. Until I saw these people's true colors come out. Its all made up crap.

Many thousands of years ago people had the same questions yearnings and fears that people do today. The only difference today is that people have the advantage of getting some real hard core answers to their questions something that ancient peoples had no clue about.

For example. People did not know what caused sickness even up until 60 years ago it was referred to the so called germ theory. While educated people knew in the 19th century about bacteria and later around the 1880's when the virus was discovered. Before that they really thought that these ailments were caused by evil spirits.

Planet earth up until the late middle ages people believed the world was all there was to the Universe, the world was not a planet until a guy name copernicus said otherwise did not publish until after his death. Gee I wonder why. It could not be because of those same religous nut cases could it?

People back then did not know that the moving lights in the sky that theuy called planets were worlds! The idea that the Stars were suns and not points of light was not common knowledge until the 17th century. The idea of the galaxies that brings us up to the 1920's remember the great debate?

The idea there are other worlds going around other sun's got a man burned at the stake in the late 1500's for holding such heresy. That is something that is considered a real possibility only in our time. When my dad was growing up in the 1920's people did not hold to the idea of other intelligences in the Universe that was considered unacceptable.

Its not too hard to consider the idea that God was really an Alien posing as a God. It would not be too hard to pull off considering the primitive state of the human race 5000 years ago. There has certainly been plenty of opportunity for an Alien visitation in the last 50,000 years.

In Retrospect however the reality is that earth has never been visited by anyone. All our religious nut cases are just simply making it all up.

If you have any knowledge of the arts and sciences and how people lived thousands of years ago you would find that there is really no inspiration at all. These people wrote and worked with what they knew about.

The earth does not have four corners, you don't fall off the edge if you sail too far and so on. The sun is not a God. It is a Star the is 4.65 billion years old. The suns energy generated in the core takes the better part of a million years to work its way to the surface. Our sun orbits the galaxy once every 250 million years or so with another 400 billion or so stars in our own spiral galaxy. We inhabit a galaxy one of hundreds of millions of other galaxies scattered though out the Universe. Our Universe itself my be an small part of what is called the Multiverse.
As far as who made it. So far truthfully and being honest with our selves there is no indication that anyone made it. It all happened.

Part of the problem with our age is that people today live in an fabricated world a world made by other people. You don't go hunting for your food. You go to the store. You get sick you go see a doctor you don't wish away evil spirits. You want knowledge you go to school or the library and so on. Everything in the world that people use is made by someone else.

The Natural world people seem to object too. They destroy the forest and the wildlife in it. Pollute the rivers and streams lakes and oceans. Call the undeveloped a wasteland. When was the last time you heard anyone refer to the untamed wilderness as a wasteland.

Most Republicans have forgotten about him, So ole Mister Saddam Hussein has WMD's is back in the press. While the CIA knew that he did not. Seems like a major disconnect with me. Or how about The Bush Adminstration wanted to invade Irag to gain contril of Iragi Oil for there Oil Buddies. The Economy is doing great. Oh in what way lets see, lets check you location, ah it says you live in Omaha Nebraska. The state with only one political party. That would be Republican. Tell me are you a farmer, land owner how much farm subsidies from the federal govt to you get at the expense of my taxes. I have never known Nebraska to be the place to be as far as the economy was concerned. Oh I know all about Nebraska esp your area. However I was born and raised in Michigan and I currently reside in Arizona. Here in Michigan the economy is still not very good. Michigan is still trying to come out of the 2001 recession caused by the Republicans. In the Clinton years Michigan was going like gang busters and the entire state was dripping in money. Not so in 2006. Now Arizona on the other hand has been booming. Home prices are way up, why my little hovel I paid $68,000 for in 1990 can sell for as much as $194,000 during the last year. In other area's people who purchased homes for 350k in the last three or four years have been reselling their homes for as much as700k. So yeah things like Real Estate are doing pretty good. The balloon has not burst yet. Jobs well thats kind of a different story. If your unskilled with no formal education other than a H.S. Diploma its going to be min wage. If you have a technical degree, such as in the Engineering or the Medical fields then the money is pretty good. And their are some pretty good offerings. If your recently crossed the border illegall and not been caught by the border patrol there are all kinds of places willing to hire you for your cheap labor and plenty of Republican owned businesses will hire you. Not to worry once they hire you they won't turn you in to the gov't only a liberal will do that. If he finds out.

One interesting point of your link you included in both locations whether the location of Eden was in Eastern Turkey or underneath the persian Gulf at the time 5000 to 8000 years ago both regions were river deltas very good for farming. The place in eastern turkey is still farm land and the people who reside there are Kurds

The last Mini ice age occured during the 1600's so its not such a far fetched idea. I doubt dumping more Co2 in the atmosphere would have the much effect. Its also known that increased solar activity has had an effect of global warming. The sun during the last several minimuns was still pretty active. 3. President Bush, was your friend from the National Guard, James R. Bath, arrested for cocaine around the same time? Is this why both of your National Guard records show suspensions in 1972 for refusal to submit to annual medical exams? Is this why you were no longer allowed to fly? If so, why did you make up the story that you no longer WANTED to fly?

4. President Bush, do you remember Bill Calhoun from your National Guard duty in Alabama? No one else remembers your serving in the National Guard in Alabama at that time, but "coincidentally" the Republican National Committee suddenly found this “Bill Calhoun” to vouch for you. Is Mr. Calhoun a paid operative of the Republican Party? Or did he just volunteer to lie to save your reputation?

Bath was appointed by your father as a CIA operative in 1976 — leasing aircraft in Houston and serving as a liaison between wealthy Arab sheiks (including the Bin Ladens) and American entrepreneurs. According to all sources, Bath’s company served as a “front” for the CIA. Before 1976, Bath was broke, according to all accounts. What was it that prompted your father to select James R. Bath in 1976? Did he hold incriminating evidence against you?

6. James R. Bath, representative of wealthy Saudi sheiks, channeled investment money into your first company in 1977, Arbusto Energy Corporation of Midland, Texas. Were you personally acquainted with Salem bin Laden (Osama’s brother) and Khalid bin Mahfouz (Osama’s brother-in-law) who poured thousands into your first company and millions into your subsequent enterprises?

7. Mr. Bush, how did you profit $880,000 from Harken Energy (your fourth company), when all other investors lost 90%? Why didn’t the SEC (under your father’s administration) look into the matter of your sale of stock a week before the stock collapsed?

8. Mr. Bush, how did Harken Energy (who had never explored off-shore) land the contract off Bahrain in 1990 when your father was President of the United States? Who, then, worked up the sweetheart deal under the table?

9. Khalid bin Mahfouz, whose younger sister married Osama bin Laden, was director of the powerful Commercial Bank of Saudi Arabia and also served as director of BCCI (Bank of Credit & Commerce International) which laundered money for the CIA under the watch of your father. He was also part of the IRAN-CONTRA scheme (Ollie North) and the savings & loan debacle of the 80s. Mahfouz was also one of your prime investors (through James R. Bath, your Guard buddy) in your 4 failed firms. Khalid bin Mahfouz has also been tagged by the CIA for funneling millions to his brother-in-law, Osama, since the 1980s through 2004. Why, then, are you EXEMPTING Mahfouz’s banking activities from being closed down? The 9/11 families especially WANT TO KNOW. (9/11 families are incensed at Bush for exempting these Saudi royals connected to Osama bin Laden.)

10. Why will you not release the August 6, 2001 brief from the CIA (delivered to you personally at Crawford) as part of the 9/11 Investigation? Did the memo not warn that Al Qaeada was planning imminent hijackings — flying airliners into American buildings?

11. Mr. President, did you authorize contracting out the gathering of intelligence to a group called OFFICE OF SPECIAL PLANS? Was not this group closely associated with the Republican Party? Did the OFFICE OF SPECIAL PLANS circumvent the use of the CIA for the sole purpose of lending credibility to your pre-conceived notion that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction and was poised to use them against the U.S. and its allies? Was there another ulterior motive in contracting OFFICE OF SPECIAL PLANS ($80 million taxpayer money)? Since OSP is a “private” enterprise, the Congress cannot oversee its operations. Thus, you were free to dismiss any congressional inquiries. Is this correct?

12. Mr. President, who was on staff at the OFFICE OF SPECIAL PLANS? Were they not close to your administration and were part of the formation of PNAC (Project for a New American Century) in 1997? Was not the PNAC determined to invade Iraq — regardless if Saddam was there or not — even if no WMD existed?

13. Mr. President, did not the PNAC write a policy statement in September 2000 in which they believed a “new Pearl Harbor” was necessary to rouse Americans to back a war against Iraq?

14. Mr. President, name members of your administration who also serve or have served with the Project for a New American Century (PNAC).

15. An organization/business called CARLYLE GROUP, whose members include 3 Bin Laden brothers, your father, James Baker, Frank Carlucci, and several others from your administration, serves as a conduit for weapons sales between major defense contractors and governments all over the world. CARLYLE also rebuilds defense companies — both financially and through market availability. Mr. President, you also served with the CARLYLE GROUP 1990-92. Don’t you find this organization and its members in conflict of interest — since they come directly from high government positions and are now selling weapons systems to those same governments? Don’t you find it a conflict of interest when the CARLYLE GROUP advises governments what weapons systems to procure and what strategies to use against potential enemies?

16. Mr. President, were you really “born again” upon Billy Graham’s visit to your father’s summer home in Kennebunkport, Maine? Or was this another ploy to cover your future political aspirations where you foresaw the need to sway the Southern vote to lock up elections?

17. Mr. President, did God really speak to you in 1999 and predict your rise to the presidency? While you were sitting at your mother’s church in Houston?

18. Mr. President, did God really direct you to strike Afghanistan, then Iraq, and then turn your attention to the 2004 election? (As you claimed to the Prime Minister Mahmoud Abba of the Palestinians)

According to Abbas, immediately after the peace negotiations Bush said: "God told me to strike at al Qaida and I struck them, and then he instructed me to strike at Saddam, which I did, and now I am determined to solve the problem in the Middle East. If you help me I will act, and if not, the elections will come and I will have to focus on them." June 25, 2003 Ha'aretz - Israeli Press Article

19. Mr. President, who were the White House staffers who leaked information to Bob Novak and five other prominent journalists concerning Ambassador Joseph Wilson’s wife, Valerie Plame, a CIA operative? Wasn’t vengeance their prime motive? Did you or your closest adviser, Karl Rove, have knowledge of the leak at the time, and did you approve?

20. Mr. President, name the company executives who sat down with Vice-President Dick Cheney at the energy policy meetings of early 2001. Was not Ken Lay chief among them? What did they discuss and what were their plans? If Cheney and the energy planners motives were pure, why not release the names and information to the public? Or at least to Congress?

The media needs to ask ALL of these questions, and MORE. Why aren’t they? As our nation heads fast into a one-party state, we will look back at these times and wonder, “Why didn’t the press do its job? Did not people realize the nation was falling into tyranny?”

Clinton sent legislation to Congress to TIGHTEN AIRPORT SECURITY. (Remember, this is before 911) The legislation was defeated by the Republicans because of opposition from the airlines.

-Clinton sent legislation to Congress to allow for BETTER TRACKING OF TERRORIST FUNDING. It was defeated by Republicans in the Senate because of opposition from banking interests.

-Clinton sent legislation to Congress to add tagents to explosives, to allow for BETTER TRACKING OF EXPLOSIVES USED BY TERRORISTS. It was defeated by the Republicans because of opposition from the NRA.

-Clinton increased the military budget by an average of 14 per cent, reversing the trend under Bush I.

-Clinton tripled the budget of the FBI for counterterrorism and doubled overall funding for counterterrorism
-Clinton detected and destroyed cells of Al Qaeda in over 20 countries
-Clinton created national stockpile of drugs and vaccines including 40 million doses of smallpox vaccine.
-Of Clinton's efforts says Robert Oakley, Reagan Ambassador for Counterterrorism: "Overall, I give them very high marks" and "The only major criticism I have is the obsession with Osama"
-Paul Bremer, current Civilian Administrator of Iraq disagrees slightly with Robert Oakley as he believed the Clinton Administration had "correctly focused on bin Laden.
-Barton Gellman in the Washington Post put it best, "By any measure available, Clinton left office having given greater priority to terrorism than any president before him" and was the "first administration to underatake a systematic anti-terrorist effort"

Here, in stark contrast, is part of the Bush-Cheney anti-terrorism record before September 11, 2001:

-- Backed off Clinton administration's anti-terrorism efforts.
-- Shelved Hart-Rudman report.
-- Appointed new anti-terrorism task force under Dick Cheney. Group did not even meet before 9/11.
-- Called for cuts in anti-terrorism efforts by the Department of Defense
-- Gave no priority to anti-terrorism efforts by Justice Department.
-- Ignored warnings from Sandy Berger and Louis Freeh about the urgency of terrorist threats.
-- Halted Predator drone tracking of Osama bin Laden.
-- Did nothing in wake of August 6 C.I.A. report to president saying Al Qaeda attack by hijack of an airliner almost certain.
----Now we've got Bush knowing about the terrorists plans, and the fact that they were in flight schools in the US, and little georgie takes a four week vacation..
-- By failing to order any coordination of intelligence data, missed opportunity to stop the 9/11 plot as Clinton-Gore had stopped the millennium plot.
--Blamed Clinton for 9/11.
