This, and the birds, are now my favorite forums. I enjoy every image but there has been so many I'm not sure it's appropriate to respond to them individually.? I think every image is great!!

I'm sorry guys, I just received a new Canon 10D and 70-200mm lense. I charged the battery and charged out to see what it will do. I'll read the manual tonight and see if I can learn how to run this thing but here's the first light (so to speak). I think I'm going to like this camera :-)

A front view! Please note the ridge down the middle of this birds head. When they are agitated they spread this ridge open revealing a red crown. I have seen this in one photo. Now I have to try and get it.
