What? Getting the far right Christians to vote for far left ideology??? HaH!

Again these progressives have stepped over their boundaries of authority. To use the churches to spread propaganda is to ignore the "separation of church and state" statute. As I see it, it's just another "nose up" at The Constitution. More proof they think they are "gods" and are above the laws. They already believe they have the power to "grant" rights to us (and as such take them away too).
They're getting desperate fearing this November and will stop at nothing to keep their power over the people. You watch, it's going to get worse. It wouldn't surprise me if O'Blame-a attempts to invoke martial law at some point claiming a "national emergency" after the loons incite rioting not unlike what is happening in Greece today (incited by the Unions by the way).

Now, whether you're for or against the Democrats plan for immigration reform, isn't the act of the gov't telling a religious organization to preach a politically-motivated message something that we're not supposed to be doing in this country? Can you imagine the outrage there would have been if GWB had asked Protestant leaders to convince their congregations to support any of his policies? Haven't we all heard about churches being threatened with removal of their tax-exemption status if their pastors failed to cease preaching politically-oriented messages (always ones in favor of the "wrong" party, of course)?

It's because they all think that for some reason they're exempt from the consequences of their actions. And they feel the way they want to live is how the rest of us should live. Um, I don't think so Tim!

If some of the left leaners here can actually comprehend it, then I believe if you have even an ounce of dignity, honor, and respect, it should curdle your blood. Yeah, and force BP to waste time, and resources??? Let BP do their job!

BP has agreed under pressure to show a live feed of a procedure called a "top kill" designed to choke off the oil spill. BP started showing live feed of the leak itself after pressure from the Obama administration. But lawmakers had said they had learned that the "top kill" procedure would not be shown.

Has anyone read these orders? One is Obama's, the other Bush's. I find that Bush referred a lot to constitutionality, whereas Obama's reference is nil, nada, and revokes it, and court orders. Except for the opening line, the Constitution is never even mentioned. Plus it is the very first executive order implemented. Why the immediate need to?????
From what I gather, and I am no expert, Obama gives himself "Dictator-like" powers over former living presidents records, and their rights to invoke executive privilege. Opens the door for anyone to go through him to get their hands on sensitive materials. Maybe to many it is nothing, but I find it a little disturbing for national security reasons, and circumventing constitutionality.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced today it is giving $2 million to food behavior scientists to use marketing tricks to encourage kids to pick fruits and veggies over cookies and french fries.

Does this mean the schools are incapable of providing "healthy choices" for the children, parents not "smart enough" to feed their kids, and now the feds will attempt control it instead? A preemptive move to "Obamacare" so it will not cost so much? You know, by eliminating yet more choices you used to make on your own.
I'm all for kids eating right, but that is the parent's job, NOT the government.
