Downy WoodpeckerPosted By Bryan Varney |
This Downy almost looks fake to me for some reason.
My wife also thought it looked like a stuffed bird in the photo.
It was at least 40 yards out and would not hold still.
It really started to get me thinking about a faster
digiscoping setup. I missed a lot of shots this weekend.

DSLR AFPosted By Bryan Varney |
I have just recently started digiscoping and I am already
looking to move up to a DSLR.
Will the DSLR cameras autofocus when shooting through a
telescope? I heard somewhere that some cameras will not auto focus when using telescopes as the lens.
I know some of you guys are hooking your DSLRs to scopes
and comming up with some fantastic shots.
Are you focusing manually
thanks,
Bryan

New Camera (Sparrow)Posted By Bryan Varney |
I was able to get out for a short time today with
my new Camera. No fancy birds to be found but I did find
a few of the locals to shoot.
Canon 10D with TV-76 and AP BARCON.
The 6MP really give you a lot of room for cropping!

DownyPosted By Bryan Varney |
These guys don't want to hold still for more than
a second or two.
I had to get above him and wait for him to get this shot.
