Found a fallen branch on the yard this morning, and saw the possibilities of a good macro shot. Canon A70 at two inches. Photo was cropped to a bit less than one quarter of original frame. The color blends were what I was trying to capture.

Walked out one morning, and found this pathetic thing on the ground in my back yard. It was so waterlogged that I had to get it off the wet ground and onto my gas grill lid. It had just rained three inches with 70 MPH winds during the wee hours of the morning. After six hours it was able to fly.

I think that this image is pretty cool since it was taken with a spotting scope (fl=520mm), using a 14mm eyepiece, and coupling a Canon A70 digicam to the eyepiece.

I have no idea what magnification this image depicts. Maybe someone can extrapolate off the lunar disc shown in the lower right side of the photo. I like the way that the sun has hit the rim of the large crater with the central peak located on the terminator.
