Congrats on the new arrival Don!
For the rest of us still waiting, who did you purchase through and when did you order it?

PST Mountings

Posted By Ric Merry

Has anyone tried the EQ1 or EQ2 with the PST yet? I have a Astroview EQ with the Orion 80 ED and piggy back camera adapter tube rings I was hoping would allow me to dual view with a white light filter. Unfortunately I have no way to RA align the PST with the ED scope so can not align field of view between the 2 scopes. Perhaps I'll need to build a bracket between the 2 tube rings that has the 1/4-20 bolt (or 2).

PST Mountings

I've made a mount that allows the PST to align with my Orion 80 ED on an Astroview motorized EQ mount in order to view in both white light and H-Alpha.

Hawk shots (Red-tailed)

Posted By Ric Merry

Hi Robert-
I REALLY like the 1st shot in your series.
The lighting and detail is great. The only improvement would be catch light in that eye (I'd be tempted to Photoshop it in).
The wire it's sitting on doesn't bother me, I love the talons.
Good job!
