I have the c10 on the CG5 ASGT mount. My 10" scope is about maximum for the mount. You should be fine.

I have the c10 with a Pentax 35mm camera piggybacked on a CG5 GT mount. Works fine.

I've had mine since August and love it.
A quality power source with secure connections and a balanced mount are the most important things you can do.
After you have read the manual, read it again! You shouldn't have any problems.

Tripod included, fully collapsed with the counter weight bar removed, mine is - 51 inches tall x 17 inches wide.
