Code Requirement Eliminated?

Has the anitquated code requirement been completely eliminated from the US amateur radio licensing structure yet? What is happenning in this regard?

Purpose of this Forum

This forum is quite confusing. I thought that this is a moderated forum and that the purpose is to discuss religion in a positive constructive context. It seems that many members of this group are simply Trolls whose purpose is to antagonize other members of the group. Why do the moderators allow this situation to continue? I would recommend the creation of an "Atheist" forum so that all of the Athiests can move to that forum and continue to dis religion. This forum could then be maintained for constructive discussions regarding religion.

Archaic Code Requirment

Has the archaic code requirement been eliminated yet for all HF licenses? I cannot believe that we are in the 20th century and that the code requirement still existed several years ago when I last checked. Hopefully, it has been done away with.

Liberal Christian Churches

Have any of the Atheists or Heathens that frequent this group tried some of the more liberal Christian Churches such as the United Church of Christ? I understand the many Methodist Churches are also very liberal. It is not fair to pass judgement on Christianity after attending several churches. The problem with organized religion as a whole is that men bring their bigotry and self-centered motives that are not of God. This behavior turns many folks away from Christianity and other organized religions.

Please listen to the attached NASA URL Christmas Eve Broadcast from Apollo 8. Even NASA believes that God created the Heaven and the Earth.

I pray that all of you will have an open mind, be enlightened, and will accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. There is only one way to God, and that is through the Lord.

P.S. If NASA made that broadcast in this day and age of Heathens and Atheists, I am sure that they would have ACLU lawsuits against them. It is really a sad state of affairs.

Mention ID Before Teaching Evolution

I believe that God directed evolution and the evolution should be taught in schools, however, Intelligent Design should also be mentioned. Before discussing evolution, it should sjimply be stated that some folks believe in Intelligent Design even though there are no scientific facts for substantiation. It is a FACT that many folks believe in Intellignet design and therefore that fact should be stated.

Even Atheists have to accept the fact that many folks of all races and educational backgrounds believe in Intelligent Design. Therefore, this fact needs to be mentioned. Schools should not deny this simple fact nor should they attempt to deprogram children of the religion that they have been taught by their parents.

What is the Future of TMB Scopes?

Since the very unfortunate loss of Mr. Thomas Back, what is the future of TMB Scopes? I hope that these wonderful designs will continue to be manufactured for many decades. Hopefully, the TMB design will continue to display the TMB logo as a tribute to this fine optical designer. Can anyone please comment?
