SuggestionsPosted By Craig Glaze |
Hi I just resently divested my self of my 10" newt, really not enjoying the hassle of moving the thing and collimation.
I was thinking I was out of the hobby, but clear skies here lately have drawn me back in. I just purchased an Orion ST80(much lighter) and need a low cost diagonal and eyepieces which work well with this scope. I know you refractor Aficionatos have "been there and done that" and would much appreciate some suggestions on these items which work well and don't cost much. Thanks

Can anybody tell me what laser pointer I should look for to use as a finder on my scope?

Nice scope Floyd!
Maybe someday I can trade in my 10" home built for something as impressive.

From what little I know, I think the only thing that determines TFOV is the field stop diameter of ep and focal length of scope?

Criteria for eyepiece condition in salesPosted By Craig Glaze |
Yea... A similar situation happened to me just this week. The fella from Canada exaggerated the ep he sent me and then refused to simply trade back and forget the whole thing. I think in part because of a reluctance to endure the horrid import duties they have to bare. This makes me reluctant to do business up there again.
