I have noticed that Tel Vue has come out with a new line of
ethos eyepieces and like their trade mark name for quality
they have produced another over priced eye candy. Take a look a most of the astronomy equipment items produced in this country and most of them are way over priced. We have moved most of our manufacturing capability oversees and the
foreign manufactures are mass producing optics albiet at a reduced quality for sale by the boat loads in this country.
Why cant reputable manufactures make good quality low cost
telescopes, optics eyepieces and mounts that will not cost an arm and a leg to make. Why is it that after nearly 400 years refractors still cost more per in than any other scope. Why hasnt anyone come up with a low cost and practical way to mass produce a good quality refractor
for let say 100 per inch. It seems like american inginuity
has been replaced with american niche and high dollar low
volume products.

No lets anlyise these verses in the correct context
that the bible is talking about.

I agree that the bible does make reference to three levels
of heaven.

1. The level of the atmosphere, where birds live and fly in

2. The level of heaven that the sun, moon, stars exist in

3. The level of heaven where God and the heavenly host (angels) and those Christians that have passed on live in.

but i believe that your streching that verse in Revelation
12:12, I beleive that the context of that verse taken
in consideration the entire chapter twelve is talking about
the heaven where God and the angelic host live.

your reference in II Corin 12:2.

I truely believe that your interpertation of Isaiah 40:22
of heaven as being anpromophrosized as a tent being dwelled
in by living creatures is way off. I beleive that the
correct transliteration means that the heavens are spread
as a tent, is in reference to the orderliness of his creation.

Your reference again in Isaiah 40:15 is not even talking
about extra terrestrial life, its again talking about
the nations, direct reference to this earth and the
inhabitants dwelling there in.

as your reference to Job when the sons of God presenting themselves before God, the scriptures are clearly refering
to the angels themselves not extra terrestrial life.
The term sons of God is most definatelty used to define
angels.....

Hey Rod;

Maybe the news media forgot to remind you that 78% of murders/fatalities
and crimes committed by firearms last year alone (13000) occured from the use of handguns. Maybe its not the guns fault after all. While were
at it, how about the 50,000 people who are killed or severly injured
by drunk drivers every YEAR in this country. Maybe we should
ban alcohol and auto's too.

astronomy club near your area.

there to buy for good info. ie
How to make a telescope by
jean texereau.

Stick with the Discovery, you will get a better quality mirror, and Base for the money, remember you get
what you pay for.
