They are also known as Binoculars.com. Same address and warehouse just different names. I have bought from them before and had satisfactory service. I like to buy from Anacotes due to the fact that they sponsor this site!

I just ordered my PST and was wondering if there was anything I should be aware of. I've read in some previous forums about rust? As usual, I'm sure I'll have plenty of time read up on it since it will probably be cloudy for the next two weeks!! Sorry guys! LOL!!

I received my PST today

I finally received my PST but I noticed the manufacture date on the warranty card says March 05. I believe this is the timeframe of the rusting problem with the rusting am I correct? I can't believe this thing sat for over 2 years unsold! Anyway I checked for the dredded rusting and could not see any, so I will keep the figures crossed! shocked

Mellincam Hyper Color

Just took the plunge and bought a Mallincam Hyper Color Plus camera. I can't wait till it arrives so I can share the night sky with my family. My boys are always fighting to get a view through the scope, so this should help. My question is, has anyone here have one? How do you like it? Kind of late to ask, but I figure I can learn what to expect.

Can someone fill me in on this subject. If I have a scope of the same aperture but I have one scope at F10 and one at F4, what would the difference be visually? I need to clear up this issue to decide a purchase. I plan on doing both visual and astrophotography with this scope.

Yes the C8 and larger OTA's are manufactured in the US. I just recieved my C9.25 yesterday and the box was clearly marked "Made in USA", thats why I prefer Celestron.

Metal shavings in My C11

I just changed my dovetail bar on my C11 and noticed that after I put the screws back in, there was a small amount of metal shavings on the secondary mirror housing from the screws. My question is, should I be concerned? Any help would be appreciated.
