Christmas classics, and not so classics

Posted By Sarah Graves
My husband and I have been renting Christmas movies as of late (to get us further into the Christmas spirit). I've made a list of some that I think will become a part of my future holiday traditions:

(in no particular order)
A Christmas Story
Elf
White Christmas
Miracle on 34th St. (Natalie Wood version)
The Santa Claus
How the Grinch Stole Christmas (original animated version)
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

Any I should add to the list?

Light Pollution Filter

Posted By Sarah Graves
I have a question about a light pollution filter for my telescope. If I'm using an Astrola eyepiece, can I use a TeleVue or Celestron filter for it? I guess I thought I had to use an Astrola filter with an Astrola eyepiece(?).

Aww sad I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I don't even want to imagine losing one of my "babies". Pets are so wonderful to have. *hugs* My favorite kitty is on my profile. Take care!

What women would like to see..

Posted By Sarah Graves
No. What I would like to see, is my husband picking his underpants up off the floor, OR replacing the toilet paper roll, OR taking his dish out to the sink! grin

Some sellers are soo funny!

Posted By Sarah Graves
What, have you been using those as a buffing wheel? wink

I agree with you @ sellers. Sometimes I think I'll find a literal polished turd on eBay, with someone standing by ready to bid $100,000,000 for it!

Time for all of us to do our part in supporting AstroMart

Posted By Sarah Graves
I don't mean to sound ignorant here, but how can I make a contribution? I mean, I don't think I'll ever have anything to sell, but I'm more than happy to pitch in where I can!

Stargazing weather forecast? Is there such a thing

Posted By Sarah Graves
Huh. I'd never heard that. But I can think of at least one instance (living in Oregon), where there was a full moon, and clouds galore. So I think that might be a wives tale (?)
