The Sky 6 question

Posted By Richard Shreck

This sounds elementry, but i have not been able to figure this out...
How do you toggle back to the "virtual sky" view after zooming to something
not on the current screen? I have to close the program and restart to get back to the Normal mode.

constant cloud cover

Posted By Richard Shreck

Think I am going to invent a scope mount that will overcome this cloud cover problem. I think it will look something like a car lift at a filling station, but waaaaay taller...something to get you and your scope above any annoying cloud cover. Just pack your lunch, wave good-bye to the wife and press the assend button.

EQ mount for 10" DOB?

Posted By Richard Shreck

You guys are great. I really appreciate all the diverse opinions and advice that gets posted on this forum. I will be re-thinking this...amazing what the mind comes up with when the skies are cloudy for days on end and you can't get outside to observe.

Orion nebula

That is a great image...first one i have seen with both horsehead and orion in the same image. You should be proud of this one. For me, it shows exactly where I should be looking for the horsehead!

Just a suggestion

Paul, I got the moonlite focuser from www.focuser.com. They shipped it the day i placed the online order. Great product and service.
Also talked to them on the phone about which adapters I would need for my scope and they were very helpful.
