Does the o-ring fit inside the 1/4" channel of the finderscope or
forward of it.

Power Supply

Posted By Robert Kovacs

When I got my Celestron 9.25 AS-GT I also bought a Power Tank from Celestron 7AH model. Little did I know that I would also be getting a Dew Buster and Heat strips for my optical tube corrector and eyepiece. I got two Dew-Nots. Here in Pennsylvania dew is a problem in Spring and Summer. Now I need to get another power supply to power the heaters. What would all recommend. I seen a 12AH power supply at Sears made by Schumacher. They also have a 17AH model for more money. I already have the Celestron Power Tank to power my scope. But what would I need power wise to power the heaters. The ones at Sears only have one recepticle for a cigarette lighter adapter. So I would be able to use my Dew Buster and nothing more. Not that I need anything else. smile

Filling the gaps

Posted By Robert Kovacs

I own a Celestron 9.25 ASGT, and have a 25mmE-Lux,40mmE-Lux,and a 10mm Ultima. Which eyepieces would you recommend to fill the gaps. Considering both 1.25 and 2 inch. I have heard good things about Radians, Meade 5000, etc. Want to have more of a selection. Like looking at planets, galaxies and nebulas. smile

Photoshop Elements

Posted By Robert Kovacs

Is Photoshop Elements good enough for Astrophotography. Will it work with MaxIm DL and MaxDSLR. It seems to have everything Photoshop CS2 has with the exception of curves and CMYK, at more than half the price. I see alot of Amateur Astronomers using Photoshop, but some of us cannot afford $499.00, for a professional photo editor designed for professional photographers. smile

Powr Supply

Posted By Robert Kovacs

I already have a Celestron Power Tank 7amp/hr for my 9.25 ASGT scope. I want to get a new power supply so I can use my dew buster without having to worry about power depleting using it on the power tank. K-Mart has a Rally 8amp/hr power booster for $32.95. With two 12v cigarette lighter inputs. Think this would be ok.
