I'd appreciate recommendations on a solar filter for my trusty Astroscan. Would it (or should it) be an eyepiece filter or something that fits over the end of the scope? How much would I need to spend to get an acceptable one for my Astroscan?

Does the lack of response means there are no decent telescope accessory stores in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area?

I have a second question. I just got a Rigel Quik-Finder for use on my Astroscan and was wondering where the best place to mount it would be. Should it be right even with the end of the scope or even with the eyepiece or way down closer to the ball?

I would sure appreciate some help and advice here.
