Funny to think of NYers as rednecks, but having lived there, you realize many of them have never been 100 miles from home.
Freedom of speech - yes. Hateful and anti-Christian - yes.
Killing people over the burning of a book? Well that's just barbaric. I am sick of these superstitious cave dwellers telling us how we should live though.
Terry Jones is not a Christian in my book, but I can tell now he is a 1st rate Capitalist. Still it's his right, and these childish morons (Islamic fundamentalists)need to get over it.

A better questions would be under 6" and over 6". In my light polluted sky, doubt I would see many DSOs at all with a 4" refractor. My CPC 1100 still cost less new than a premium 4" refractor (ota only). That is tough to beat.

The post office seems to do just as good a job as UPS or Fed Ex, at least here in Pittsburgh. Great for small packages and literally a fraction of the cost of the others. Both UPS and Fed Ex have damaged packages I received. In one case actually ruining a CG-5 mount. But big packages must be sent by UPS or Fed Ex though.

Nice civil discussion expept for Mike's first post.
I have to say I HATE these political discussions on my hobby websites though. I have hobbies to get away from the small minded, cruel, and devisive bickering that is so prevalent on the rest of the web. Astromart...knock it off!
Before I go, I'm going to stir the pot though (you started it A-mart). I thought the Healthcare bill was supposed to lower the deficit within 10 years, so I suppose the objection to this is NOT related to government spending. Also, why so little objection to Bush passing the medicare B prescription bill, which is actually more expensive than Obamacare?

Rex, you've apparently never seen The Simpsons. I'd bet it's "cleaner" than any other sitcom on TV. South Park is pure satire. Muslims, Tom Cruise, Barb Streisand, Phil Collins, Kanye West etc., do not want the creators dead or broke because of any scatoligical humor. You'd know this if you actually watched before commenting. Agree on Family Guy though. Not to say it isn't funny sometimes. The creator, Seth MacFarlane is the highest paid actor/director/producer/writer etc. in television, so someone thinks he's funny.

I don't really disagree Rex. I do watch the Simpsons with my kids. I think it's harmless. However, South Park and Family Guy are not permitted for my 8 year old. Sadly, Family Guy is on in our area at 7pm. Not appropriate family viewing, I agree. That show and South Park are clearly intended for adults. I actually feel a little uncomfortable watching sports with my son sometimes due to all the E.D. ads along with the rest of them. I think we digress though, as this question was not about "family friendly" cartoons specifically.
