Nice build!!!

How about some specs? I could make out the DD rails, PRS stock, LaRue mount, and a few other bits. Is the that a POF lower or just a Magpul enhanced trigger guard? Who makes the upper and barrel?

What guns are essential?

1. A concealed/open carried handgun: Glock 26 is my choice
2. A deep concealed handgun for when regularly concealed time that won't work: Ruger LCP is my choice.
3. A primary home defense handgun: Glock 19 is my choice
4. A .22LR pistol: as you said, for cheap plinking and trigger time. My choice is a Sig Sauer Mosquito
5. An AR15 or AK47: to piss off the anti crowd grin
6. A hunting rifle, if you hunt, I don't hunt, but do have a Rem 700 SPS
7. A shotgun: for times when nothing else will work on a padlock grin

If your primary criteria are exposed hammer DA/SA with a decocker, the Beretta 96FS is also worth considering. I had a 92FS, which is the same as the 96FS, but in 9mm. I love its accuracy and look, but the grip turns out to be too big for my smallish hands. My strong hand gets tired after 50 rounds or so.

You cannot go wrong with a Sig for sure. I'd stay away from the IMI Baby Eagle simply because the accessories, holsters, night sights etc. for this gun are not as ubiquitous.

Hey James,

That looks like an XPS-2 on there. That sight costs almost as much of the gun grin I'm now up to 5 AIMShot HG-M2 sights for my range toys because they are solid, functional, and 1/4th the cost of the cheapest Eotech. Their customer service is excellent as well.

Great job on figuring the sling out. That's the best way to shoot these pistols besides putting on a laser sight and shoot from the hip (that's A LOT of fun by the way).

Try 20-rd Thermold mags. I had 1 20-rd Magpul mag that fail to feed the last round every single time, but never had any mag problem with any of my AR. However, I did notice that Thermold mags feel the smoothest (not sure how to explain it).

Armed while observing at dark sites

Like all of the times that I carry, I'm concerned/conscious about the journey as much as the destination. In this case, I'm not so concerned about the dark sites, but about walking with equipments to/from my car (I don't have a driveway/garage), stopping along the way, etc. I carry wherever it's legal, out of habit, so where I plan to be is not a determining factor. Pocketing an LCP is the minimum for me.

Personally, the disparity between teams has ruined my favorite sport, and I now consider it on the level of the WWF. It's just a show for the big markets now. Middle and small market teams are just there to fill the schedule. I will never watch the Yankees in any game. If they're in the world series, I will watch something else. They'll never make a penny on me.
