Lunar Pic 11.02.03

Here is a processed lunar image using my new Canon 300d, first light. Processed using ImagesPlus. This is an average of 20 images. I applied a Richardson-Lucy filter, PSF Size = 5x5. Noise Threshold = 2.00, 10 iterations. Seeing tonight was excellent, 9/10. I shot this at 1/40th sec, AP130 f6, through an AP 2x Barlow. Capture in Large/Fine JPEG (next time RAW)

M45 from Chiefland Star Party

I wouldn't dare put this on the SBIG board after that spectacular M45 from Genglers new 11000 camera.

This is for those that say M45 is not a good imaging subject for a NABG camera.

My imaging effort from last night (cold!!!)

I setup a remote session using a wireless connection and VNC. This was also a test run for the ImagesPlus beta 3 SW. This is an average of 10 images, focused (Robofocus assisted), acquired, aligned and combined in ImagesPlus. AP130@f6. Digital Rebel @ prime focus. Seeing was poor.

Here is another moon from the new Rebel. AP130 @f6. 10 images, RAW, 1/400sec, focused, acquired, aligned, combined, RL Convulation, using ImagesPlus. Further processing using PS CS.
