A few years ago, I had the same problem. I sent it to Meade and they corrected everything for me for and $80. fee. You might call them and see if they still provide this service. You have to get a work order from them before you can ship it. I had to go through a lot of extensions and answering machines before I finally spoke to a technician. I had to leave a message finally and the technician called me back. Good luck.

I really like the idea of your lightweight carrying bag sitting on top of a washing machine. But doesn't it defeat the purpose of the carrying bag when you have to tote the washing machine out to the observing site?

Congratulations on your achievement! I know how you feel. At 3:04 this A.M. I, too, logged in my 400th Herschel object. Most of my observations were with a 12.5" Portaball or with my 16" Homemade Dob with a Meade mirror which Mike Spooner refigured for me. All of my observations were made in a dark sky site in Awendaw, SC, near Charleston.

This project sure helps you learn the skies not to mention help refine observings skills.

M42/43 w/ any telescope but especially in my 16" home built Dob.

M13 w/ 12.5" or 16" Dob and 14 mm Ultrawide eyepiece.

M31/32/110 w/ 31 mm Nagler.

Submitted Classified ad pictures 90 degrees tilted

All of my pictures in my ad in Mounts, Altazimuth, "Charles Riddel V.2 FTX Mount" are 90 degrees rotated.  I spent about 40 minutes trying to correct them and I couldn't.  Please help.
