Congratulations Chicago - Something Good came your way.

Unnecessary provocation is evil, - making of lies and loving lies also. But tomorrow? - The cover of their magazine showing their Prophet weeping with the logo saying I am Charlie?? What does it take to wake people up? They clearly tell the world who they hate, and the evil they want to consummate against the many countries/groups/religions/ etc. that they hate. Then they punctuate their words with deadly acts of violence. So when they yell in the streets immediately after commiting mass murder, - that they did it for their Prophet, I believe them. But What?? The magazine that these victims worked for is going to say - actually their Prophet is in the corner somewhere weeping for these victims?? Maybe these French cartoonists need to put down their crack pipes and go outside for a breath of fresh air. What next? - a cover of Hitler at the wailing wall saying - I am Jewish? Osama Bin Laden in central park saying Ich bin ein New Yorker?? These terroists say they hate me and a large group of various others. I'm convinced they really do. Thomas Marshall

"And then it was moving and in microseconds my mind realized what was happening" This is not truly related but your post brought it to mind. A few years ago I sleepily went out to my school bus to start and pre-trip it in the winter dark. Started it and ideling I began paperwork when all of a sudden I realized the bus was moving backward. I slammed the brakes as hard as I could.- nothing- I slammed the shift lever all the way down and shattered the plastic handle into pieces that went flying everywhere. It went faster!, I hit every button, handle and anything I could reach to stop it. Broke the knobs on the radio in my panic. After 20-30 seconds, NOT MICROSECONDS, - My mind said "Jesus-Thomas you should have hit the trees and fence behind you by now, they are 4-6 feet away. THEN I REALIZED, the bus had not moved an inch. It was the bus to my left, - pulling out of his space. One of the planets was in "retrograde motion" at the time, so later I decided to take it as a down to earth lesson from above on the deceiving nature of retrograde motion to the observer. The mechanics laughed their a--es off. Thomas

GOD, I hope we don't have to rewrite the Civil War. Williams tailor sure was ahead of his times. Thomas

Yeah, - I've seen this on tv. Are they talking naked eye stargazing? Are large ships like that stable enough for telescope use? Maybe they put the ship on course with the rotation of the earth and do the "tracking for us"? :S I really don't know if it's a joke or for real. There must be some pretty dark skies out in the middle of the ocean, and a sturdy lounge chair with large binoc's might be just the ticket, - especially in the S. hemisphere where it would be a new sky for many of us. Dot's great. Real good pic's. Thomas Marshall

:S "We at the F.B.I. do not have a sense of humor we're aware of." Tommy Lee Jones - And everyone knows poor old "Rich" is Always at a loss for words and needs someone to write dialogue for him - Thomas

WOW! INDEED!

I would be happier if I owned it instead of him. Thomas

I use my Black C8, my ES102 refractor and my Brandon Master Birder ALL on my SE Celestron goto mount. Whatever works. I only do visual, - though I am going to try out my Neximage Solar System camera soon. Thomas
